How could you possibly have Kershaw, Weaver, and CC on one fantasy team?

It was a really good draft night for me. I also have Pujols, Josh Hamilton, Carlos Beltran, Tex, and Carlos Santana. Though, of course, I'm currently losing my week's matchup. But let's not talk about that. -

^10 guys each with a roster of 26 players. Believe me, they're not idiots. One guy works in Houston for the Rangers, one guy does a radio show every Monday on sports (mainly baseball), another is the coach for my high school baseball team, and the rest are just huge baseball fans who know the game. It was a lucky night, but I'll get my $100 in October -

My predictions:
AL West - Rangers
AL Central - Tigers
AL East - Red Sox
AL Wildcards - Rays & A's
NL West - Giants
NL Central - Reds
NL East - Nationals
NL Wildcards - Cardinals & Dodgers
World Series - Cardinals over Red Sox 4-3
AL MVP - Mike Trout
NL MVP - Matt Holliday
AL Cy Young - Felix Hernandez
NL Cy Young - Clayton Kershaw
I think the Cardinals are underestimated as a team like usual, but this time we'll go farther because of the incredible depth of our roster. We'll be able to power through injuries unlike last year, and the postseason toughness that characterizes our ballclub will be the trump card. I am biased, of course, but this is my prediction. -

World Series - Cardinals over Red Sox 4-3
You must be a Red Sox fan then, there is no way they're making the World Series -.-I am biased, of course, but this is my prediction.

I just walked over to Marlins park (I live less than 3 miles away) and traded a bag of 12 old baseballs for Giancarlo Stanton, so I seriously doubt the Marlins can even win 10 games this year.
Nice that they did not even bother to win the world series this year before trading everyone away...
F*** baseball and all 182 games each team plays.
Lets go Heat! -

They have a pretty solid lineup; with a little bit of work/trading they'll be a team to compete with. I know my prediction is bold but I'm going to make it anyway. You must be a Red Sox fan then, there is no way they're making the World Series -.-
And no I actually hate the Red Sox. Like, loathe.
@Kumba - There are 162 games in a season, not 182. -

Not a huge baseball fan, but I did make it to the Tigers v. Mariners game with King Felix pitching. Good God, fan support for the Mariners is horrible, not that I really blame them. Fun time though!

^^Greinke's collar bone is broken because Carlos Quentin charged the mound after getting hit, which is not what Greinke was going for.
^Look at the King's Court. Good for Mariner fans to have him to support. Such a great pitcher. -

I'm just anti-Dodgers because one of my friends is a die-hard Dodgers fan But they signed him for millions and what happens? He breaks his collarbone within a week, out for the season -

We are officially one series out of the All Star Break, and since I forgot about this topic during it we are gonna talk now. I'd have to say that this is a great season of baseball so far, forgetting the hubbabub regarding the bio-genesis shenanigans. Close races in all the division except the NL East being handed to the Braves. What are your thoughts so far?
The AL East is living up to its predictions. Close, intense, and nervous to watch being a Rays fan. I'm biting my nails about this up coming Rays - Boston series. Gonna determine a lot. The Yanks, despite their injuries, crazily in contention. The Orioles chugging along with the Yanks. Chris "Crush" Davis is just... sigh... not letting me catch my breathe as a Detroit fan behind the Rays. I want Miggy to get another Triple Crown! The Blue Jays are exactly what I thought they would be, a disappointment. I don't mind them, I'd like to see them win. But when you mix the players of two losing teams (Marlins, Blue Jays) it might go well, it should go well looking at the talent, but it doesn't go well.
The AL Central is a complete joke. The Tigers should be man-handling everyone, but alas the blight of last year lives. They don't win when they need to, and Cleveland isn't letting up. They got hot, and they are cooling down as much as I'd like them to. Kansas City is a disappointment as well. I like them too. The classic uniforms, the rich history, and the failure of the past seasons make them a likable team, but they refuse to win. Oh well, at least they help the Tigers win, kinda. Let's not talk about the Twins cause their bad, but they will be muuuuch better in years to come with their absolutely insanely good farm system. I'm jealous.
The Wild Frontier, The AL West. My goodness deja vu! Just like last year. The A's and the Rangers duking it out. I'd love to see Oakland swipe the division just like last year. I've never liked the Rangers, but I can not deny that they are good, very good. They need pitching in order to contend, but with their wallet and prospects they can go get talent. The Mariners are a surprisingly good offensive team homerun-wise, but just like the years before they can't win. And Houston is everything everyone expected, bad, bad, and even worse. It's a shame really, nice uniforms being worn by such a meh team.
NL analysis to come when I'm not tired. (Tomorrow) And forgive any mistakes with stats and grammar, I'm too tired to proofread. -

hmmm... the Cards might actually win the NL Central this year BEFORE winning it all. i'd stay on pace for second if i were the 'irates. they don' wanna give the cards the Cards the motivation of being the wild card again.
