Kyle, maybe this delightful Asian family can help you confirm your next choice.
Would you look at that? Wonderful. Looks like the mother is about to lose her shit, but still, wow what a ride, huh? -

oh, it is my turn isn't it.
I d have a question regarding our picks, that being if surroundings/theming are considered. For instance, if I chose a layout in a Six Flags park with minimal theming, my choice is based primarily off of the layout of the coaster. But say I choose something like Big Thunder, obviously I'm going for the theming of that ride over its ride specs.
This same idea relates to the big coasters at the Busch parks, among others. I personally am disregarding theming, as in my fictional park I'd be applying my own themes, whatever they may be, and so if I chose something like Montu which has a decent amount of theming, I'm disregarding that as I'm basing my choice off the ride alone.
Is this what everyone else is doing? Looking at the ride's layout and that alone, or are you taking into account the surroundings as well.
That said..

^ I don't think that would make sense though, It makes me picture the layout designer in RCT with the purple grid. Nemesis would be silly without it's surroundings and probably not that great of a ride. -

I agree, whatever you think of when someone mentions [RollerCoaster] then that is what you are picking. Oblivion would be kinda silly if it was just the layout, wouldn't it? -

Yes, it would be very silly, which baffles me as to why someone actually did it.

I'd never seen that before, what park is that from? It sometimes really weird seeing b&m clones like that (they seem to pop up in china a lot) especially when they're so iconic in their original forms, like sheikra or raptor. -

I'm going for the whole thing, not just layout. Hence my Atlantis Adventure pick.
Nice pick airtime -

But who says my coaster wouldn't have that (at the very least)? But even that one has a tunnel and terrain.
I guess it only really matters if we ended up building these, but that won't happen ahaha. -

Damn you Steve. Rode that Saturday, was hoping it would last until my pick, it's a fantastic ride. -

Man. There's like five coasters I can't believe are still on the board. Unfortunately, I can only grab one of them. One of the best family coasters in the world:

It does looks pretty great. Apparently it won best new ride in the Golden Ticket awards this past year so I'm surprised it lasted this long in the draft. I have to get to Dollywood sometime in my life. It seems like there's virtually nothing wrong with the place.Damn you Steve. I was hoping that no one would snatch that one up, haha. Well done, though, definitely a solid pick. Probably would have been my next choice.Man. Almost all of these parks are incredible. I can just imagine the anticipation I would be feeling if I was driving up to any one of these.
