A small release for today. I'm very busy with a lot of new stuff. Curved ofcourse, but not ready with it yet. Although, i have something nice for the ones who are waiting for this. The LMB type wall in rct brick texture. It's been modified with landmark. Hopefully it'll be a parkobj. in the future. Enjoy.

Hello Guys. I've taken away the download. I'm sincerely sorry, but i've discovered the 2x2 concave to be faulty, when i started to test some new fences. I'm quite surprised that it happened tbh, since i've used the curved block to create the concave. This mostly works like a charm. Also the 2x2 curved baseblock seems to glitch, so maybe that one didn't go well when using landmark maker on it. I feel a bit sad about this, since i did test for glitching before release. My bad guys. I'll fix it asap and post the update with the fixed ones in there. If you find other mistakes, then please let me know. The 2x2 concave blocks (baseblock and pathblocks) all start with cobb3. So you might want to delete those for now. The 2x2 curved baseblock is called cubb3. Sorry for the dissapointment.

these things happen! you're creating content for the community, no one is going to kick off about it - and if they do, maybe they can create the content themselves if they're so perfect

Well thank you SSSammy. Nice of you to say.
As for doing it ones self, quite a challenge lol.
Something to mention, the curved baseblock (cubb3) is fine, false alarm there. Only the 2x2 Concave will be fixed.

Bummed to see this. I can't imagine the amount of work that went into these. I downloaded them - honestly thought "meh" - and then started playing around and they are awesome! I used Kong's color-able tarmac to build a man-made island. I haven't noticed any glitches, but I haven't paired them with fence yet. I'll delete the ones you listed - and shed a tear while doing so. Your stuff is quality and you work to a standard. I'm impressed with how seamlessly your work fits the larger TT aesthetic.

It happens.. Don't shed a tear though. It'll work out. Most work was creating the brick texture and shading ( the curved parts). When those base shapes are ready then the rest is just copy paste work with gimp. Thanks for your understanding and the kind words, very appreciated.

Hi guys. The download is back. The 2x2 concave has been remodeled and improved. All other 1x2 curved and concave blocks have been improved and the 2x2 curved block also. Flickering pixels or green pixels have been removed. The datnames are changed. I'll note them here for you. If you have downloaded the previously released park with the pathblocks, then you might want to remove the cubb1, the cubb2 and the cubb3 dats. Also the cobb1, the cobb2 and the cobb3 dats. They all start like that. The updated ones are now called cub1, cub2 and cub3 dats. Also the cob1, cob2 and cob3 dats.
There are also fixed pathblocks in this file. Those are the ones build in the sand. I've noticed this too late unfortunately. The path tile wich served as an example was missing pixels, wich weren't realy noticable because of the texture. This is also fixed and placed there. Don't know that datname, but it's a Kong object so KNG will be the first 3 letters of the dat. As for the objects that i created with it are called as a datname: qbbd-sbp qbb-sbp qbbc-sbp qcbb-sbp bb-sbp cobb-sbp cubb-sbp . So you can throw these out if you have them in your object folder. Quite an explanation, i know, but might be usefull to prevent clutter.
Besides all this.. Enjoy! have fun with it!

Something else i forgot to mention is that the fences are 2 clearance high, otherwise they get chopped off by landmark maker.

Previous post removed. Not relevant anymore. All objects in the savegame are good.

These are fantastic. I am partial to the Kong's Colorable Tarmac pcs. They make tiered landscaping so much easier and cleaner. Thanks for these!

Thanks Airtime, i will.
Thanks OddmentsAlchemyLab. I was already hoping that you would notice the update. Have fun with it! I'm already working on the marble set (curved walls and cuved path/blocks). After that it's time to create a tab for it. Next updates will be soon.

Hello guys. Another update. Some are replacements of already existing curved brick walls, but just weren't perfect enough imo. 1x2cwb1p gets replaced by 1x2cuwb5 , 1x2cwb2p gets replaced by 1x2cuwb6. Also 2x2cwb1 gets replaced by 2x2cuwb1.
There's also a fixed roofpiece from Toon in there. I needed it to create a few more spanish tile rooves and noticed the error. It's placed on the sand. Spanish rooves now available with brick and stone sidings as well.
There are some broken rail pieces in there, wich i made for That guy back in the days. Not sure if it has ever been released, so i've included it. There is a row of neon trims. I've also fixed the top texture from the stone step pieces. So now i can give these to you as well, to complement the stone deco set that i released a while back.
That's it. Enjoy!
We have a winner.png (89.71KB)
downloads: 78The last thing for this set will be some concave walls to match the concave blocks.

Almost forgot these. These didn't exist yet. Well... i couldn't find them. So i made a couple of diagonal marble decoblocks to use with the thin 1x2 marble curves. And for other purposes as well ofcourse.

I was missing a couple of those neon pieces. Thanks!
This is a nice grab bag. The fixes for your recent release, softened by the some new toys. The broken rails are cool and I love how you add pieces to expand other sets (MK98's wood siding and Fisch's funky bricks are two I use regularly). I amazed at how prolific you are with these. Having sorted all of my objects by their maker, I have 408 files - and that is without you recent release. Those are up there with the likes of 1K, Magnus, and Towntooner, and even Fisherman. You know you're a legend, right?
I'm working on a single ride diorama called "Pulse" so the neon trim will get immediate use. Thanks again for sharing and for your generosity.

Thanks man! I love your feedback, really respectfull and appreciative. Nice to hear you're happy with it. Those 2 textures you mentioned are noted now. How is the Kong pathing coming along btw?
You can expect more to come. Not 500 yet, so i need to move on ;D Might have to take a day off off editing and find the unreleased walls with windows for you. I'll probably put all my walls in a file, since i can't remember wich ones have been released. These are items that are not of particular interest in this community. Well... at least not back then. Yes, some of those neon trims were released in my last submission. Now you have them all. Good luck with the diorama.
And you're welcome.

What's been a lot of fun for me, especially since I'm working to organize what I can, is the sudden jump in content. Some of it is older and comes from asking the right person on-line, but a lot of it right now is relatively new. Besides your set, I added DKMP*'s recolor set (It's fantastic and whoever IR is, I'm a fan) and someone sent me their entire object file which filled out a lot of "missing pieces" for my 938 scenery groups.
The 1x2 and 2x2 pieces are bound to become standard pieces because they add so much flexibility to design. The deco rails are building monsters and I love them. In my earlier gushing I missed the CC9 light paths. The CC9 pieces are a large set with all of the edited pieces included and it's my favorite "flat" object. With those and the Kong tarmac's my scenery tabs look like your workbench. LOL!
I also found some 1x2 half paths by SV that are simply amazing in the way they fit together and layer.
All of my designs are big round things right now.
I can probably give you an idea of what you've released. I've started sharing object parks with a friend who is looking them over for attribution errors and sneaky dups. What we've collected is far from complete, but it is a pretty massive collection. I should mention as I get close to ready to start releasing park collections, I will not share anything if the creator of said set does not wish me to. I will gladly share the collected park with the creator for their use. I plan to post them elsewhere - the OPENRCT2 forums seem right - because I've read the forums a bit and am aware that there have been some uncomfortable discussions about objects and where/how to host them and NE likely doesn't need another round of that. I'll post links here and Reddit to get traffic and give "heads up".
I need to find a better group making tool. I use Trigger's because it is so easy and just works, but it misses the newer parkobj files. I need to make my scenery groups parkobj files themselves and then I can simply code the set. Sorry - musing.
Keep in mind the "Big Boys" of object creation - Towntooner and Fisherman - also benefit from being edited and duplicated by pretty much everyone. As CS goes, I see these two as representing two emergent design styles and builders tend to lean one way or the other. Your work expands on the Towntooner aesthetic and while you've been duped and "fixed" a lot yourself, most of the items with your name on it are unique. Taken that way, your numbers are right there with #1 and #2. So - I don't want to encourage you to stop - but if you ever want to sit and do nothing, you've earned it. But RCT2 does get a little bit better every time you release stuff.
*Free Tip: IMO DKMP's group is doing some fantastic color palettes. I have no idea if that led to the recolor pack, but they do work together well.
