In other news, I have a date this Saturday. With who? Last week guest lecturer's daughter. It's so weird, even if I didn't like her as much I would still go because it makes for a nice anecdote.

Always fun re-reading this thread. Also glad to hear people are finding meaningful friendships/relationships.

 

I guess I'll bite. My girlfriend and I have been dating for about 9 months now. She's really starting to spread her wings and I transitioned from a temporary construction inspector to a full-time graduate engineer over the new year at work. There's hope yet, the stars are actually starting to align..... never thought I'd see the day, haha!

This thread is like 2/3rd shithole and 1/3rd decent discussion lol. 

So uh. Any tips on getting out of the friend zone?
