If you fully listened to my stream yesterday, or the one before, I had said how, despite my anger at Magnus, he was still smeone who had a deep contribution to the community and was a valuable member while here was here, something that I mentioned in my team's forum before the season had ended. My Magnus comments are 95% in jest a lot of the time.

And saying my contributions were "adding air tanks"? I rebuilt the entire thing, like I did a lot of in that park, so to bash my own work as just tiny cosmetic changes is bullshit. If you don't like what I have to say, I'm not forcing you to watch the stream at all.

I think Rob is totally justified in his complaints. I understand the that he (and everyone else, too) has the utmost respect for Magnus, but that doesn't change the fact that Edda had serious dysfunction throughout it's construction. Rob even built a fantastic entrance area only for it to be denied and replaced. Hell, if I had a stream of my own I'd still be bitching about Fatha screwing me in the second Pro Tour. Everyone is probably bitter towards someone or something to an extent here, and it slips out sometimes. You don't have to insult Rob, calling him "arrogant" and a "spoiled brat." I hate when someone throws those kinds of insults around, because its more reflective of the person saying them instead of the person they're directed at. Even still, Rob is always reserved in his opinions of his own work, and if for whatever reason he's not, who gives a shit? Everyone knows he's good, himself included, so let him gloat. There's a difference between using something as a "vehicle for your pride" and simply just being proud of something.

I'd like to point out that I didn't insult Robbie in my comment (i'm not saying of yours were directed at me) I was just generally commenting on the general Magnus bashing that has gone on in the community (not just from robbie)

I understand the that he (and everyone else, too) has the utmost respect for Magnus, but that doesn't change the fact that Edda had serious dysfunction throughout it's construction. Rob even built a fantastic entrance area only for it to be denied and replaced.

Yes, Park Edda obviously was a problem. However I can't believe that it was only because of Magnus which is what Robbie makes it seem like. As far as I can tell both Robbie and Magnus did unproductive things in their own ways.

I haven't heard any praise for Magnus in the parts that I listened, so if I missed something that's my bad. I don't buy the magnus comments being mostly jest though. You bring it up so often (after one year!) and I never sensed any sarcasm or jest. No jokes last for a year... I quote (from 2:00 onwards):

- "And then we have this [point at stave church]; this heinous crime to taste that Magnus built. I don't know what the fuck he was thinking with that. [...] And I don't know why he built buildings like this, or these, or that, and that. This entire corner is shit. I was pissed when I saw it"
- "Honestly what happened with this park a lot of the time is that I built something and I told (can't hear what you're saying exactly, it sounds like 'telled'(?)) him try to copy it but he never copied it that well."

These are quotes by an arrogant spoiled brat. Otherwise you're definitely a nice guy, but this is what you become when reviewing Park Edda. For one I thought the Stave Church and the buildings with seats in them were fine. Obviously not as good as some other buildings in the park, but nothing to be pissed off about. That's what I call spoiled. I do hear that you give him credit for the shell of one building though, I missed that last time, so you were right on that a little.

Anyway, my main message is to get over the Park Edda drama and to please stop all the bashing. I do not blame you for being mad at me at all (same for you Steve, it's okay!) but these two quotes are equally not-nice (if not worse).

For better or worse, this site was built on drama. But either way, why can't Robbie be free to express how he actually feels? Why should he have to cover it up?

You know what, it's fine, I won't stream anymore. I don't need to give admins another reason to dislike me, and any enjoyment I can get from streams is ruined by people deciding to judge your character from off-hand comments. I don't need this shit, and I'd rather not waste anyone's time.

But either way, why can't Robbie be free to express how he actually feels? Why should he have to cover it up?

He should be free to express himself, as am I. All I wanted to say is that the Magnus bashing annoys me.

Liam, i really like u, but your kinda coming across as an asshole. Yes, robbie expressed an opinion, yes, you expressd an adverse opinion, but you also questioned his character using derogatory terms. You were inviting drama by being rude, and now instead of calming the situation you have simply added heat to the fire. Let's all just relax, H2H6 is over.

For what it's worth I enjoyed the stream and it sucks people are so quick to hate and judge around here.

You attacked Robbie's character and told him to "please stop all the bashing." A bit hypocritical. It might not have been your intent, but that's how it comes across. Robbie's streams were entertaining, and if you didn't like them, you could just choose not to listen instead of name-calling.

I admit that at second listen the review didn't sound as bad as I thought it was during the writing of my first comment. I'm still not going to deny that I find some comments inappropriate, but the 'arrogant spoiled brat' part and the swearing was exaggerated. I take that back. That just leaves a reasonably respectful 'the Magnus-bashing gets old and annoying' comment, which I cannot and don't want to un-say.

I'm not going to pretend I'm not an asshole, I know I can be one sometimes (that's who I am, we're all flawed beings), but do you accept this sincere apology?

I'd love to dive into the conversation, but i'm not going to, i'm feeling too sarcastic about all this.

Liam, I accept, and I was acting foolish. The "no more streaming" thing was kind of a jest as well considering I don't know when in the forseeable future I'll have time to stream regardless.

I agree on the Magnus-bashing, although for me, with much of the vitriol taken out it, comes across to me as similar to the "fuck nin" NE meme; I do understand how it comes off as much more bitter than intended. I still have a ton of respect for Magnus, and a shitty job captaining in one H2H season doesn't negate a legacy of great contributions in parkmaking and object making throughout the site's history. My comments on his work in Edda reflect what I would say about any great parkmaker's more subpar work, because I know he could do better; I don't see it as all that different to Louis calling nin's carousel "terrible" or you calling something "an unneccesary mess." You guys say that because you know that the parkmaker could do way better, which is the same that I feel about Magnus's contributions to Edda, as well as a good portion of my own. The whole park is unfortunately a product of constant tension between he and I, something that marred the quality of the work and our perceptions of the park.

I'll still stream, and I'll still review, but I'll be more careful with my choice of words in subsequent streams. Besides, last night had too many reviews regardless; I just want to build.
