I'm listening to the new M83 single. It sounds like a fusion of Daft Punk, Muse, Rush, and Yanni. I must go vomit now. Bye. -

Yes, Yes, I know, I copied Spoonie, but it's a really good idea!
Here's all the songs that were stuck in my head today
Junior Senior - Chicks and Dicks
Modest Mouse - Black Cadillacs
Brand New - Sic Transit Gloria
Wham! - Last Christmas
Keane - Everybody's Changing
Modest Mouse - Tiny Cities Made of Ashes
Modest Mouse - Satin in a Coffin
Modest Mouse - This Devil's Workday
Interpol - Slow Hands
Why all the Modest Mouse? I have no friggin clue. -

Speaking of Modest Mouse, I finally picked up the first album today. In fact, I bought it (!) for 9.99 at Best Buy. (Best Buy has a terrible selection and barely ever has what I want--in fact, I went today to get a different album but they didn't have it--but when I do find something good, it's always cheap.) Anyway It is good. Not their best but Modest Mouse really does no wrong.Yes, Yes, I know, I copied Spoonie, but it's a really good idea!

Here is a short list, of Modest Mouse album and their ranks (in my humble opinion).
01 The Lonesome Crowded West
02 The Moon & Antarctica
03 This is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About
04 Everywhere and His Nasty Parlour Tricks EP
05 Good News for People Who Love Bad News
Note: the last two are basically interchangable. They are also better than the best album from 90% of bands today so it seems weird to place them last in anything. Besides, Everywhere is an EP so that's kinda unfair. Also, there are a few compilations and EPs by Modest Mouse that I don't own yet.
EDIT- When I posted this I accidentally wrote "Good News for People Who Love People". I have no idea why I did that. -

Who cares about selection? They usually have a good one, at least the one by my house does. Not as good as say, Tower, but decent.(Best Buy has a terrible selection and barely ever has what I want--in fact, I went today to get a different album but they didn't have it--but when I do find something good, it's always cheap.)
And besides, they have hot cashiers :tasty: -

Who cares about selection? Um. When they don't have the album you're looking for, you care about selection. That's why I always go to Newbury Comics. Represent the indie stores with a ridiculously wide range of music. But I did not have a $33.59 card to Newbury Comics, I had a $33.59 card to Best Buy. So I had to go there instead.Who cares about selection? They usually have a good one, at least the one by my house does. Not as good as say, Tower, but decent.
