Well...I did listen to the Beautiful Garbage album yesterday 2-3 times, and when not initially comparing it to the 1st two albums, it's rather decent. By the 2nd listen, "Can't Cry These Tears Anymore" reminded me of a CD I hadn't listed to in ages, namely Shirley Manson's band Angelfish that she sung for prior to joining Garbage.
"Cherry Lips", "Cup Of Coffee", "Silence Is Golden" and "Androgyny" are all songs that I think I can hear in my head after just yesterdays listening. The album is better than I gave it credit for earlier in the week, and honestly, by the 3rd listening, I think I heard a smidge of the "Version 2.0" sound. So now not only is it a better album than I had thought, it loosely connects to the 2nd album.
