Because you people and your rock music bores me.

    Artist - Franz Ferdinand
    Track - This Fire
    Album - Self-titled

Because I will never be bored of my rock music.

See, this is why I would make a terrible music critic, because I could listen to Franz Ferdinand, Turn on the Bright Lights, and Echoes for the rest of my life and be perfectly content.

Echoes sucked. If there's any band who could never have a decent best-of compilation, it's Pink Floyd.

    Oh.
I was thinking, the best-of Pink Floyd collection, because it was called Echoes, as named after the song.

    The Rapture is cool too.

Ah...I see...the only Pink Floyd album I really mess with is A Saucerful of Secrets

    What!

Wish You Were Here is the best album of the 1970s. Possibly, ever.
    Animals is a close second.
The Dark Side of the Moon is a close third, even though indie douches disown it because of its mainstream popularity.

Everything else is pretty awesome too, except The Wall and The Final Cut.

I'd go insane, four on the floor action is like one of the big no-no's of drumming.

    Cyrus Jones, 1810 to 1913
Made his great-grandchildren believe you could live to 103
103 is forever when you're just a little kid
    So, Cyrus Jones lived forever

    Gravedigger
    When you dig my grave
    Could you make it shallow
So that I can feel the rain?

    Muriel Stonewall, 1903 to 1954
She lost both of her babies in the second great war
Now, you should never have to watch
as your only children are lowered in the ground
I mean never have to bury your own babies

One of these days I'm going to do that whole "Dark Side of the Moon/Wizard of Oz" synchronization thing.

That said, I'm not too big of a Pink Floyd fan, they're okay sometimes, I just couldn't listen to them on a regular basis.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that the last 6 song titles on this album are euphemisms?

haha, no, my all knowing purcussion guru, Mr. Tate, that bastard who taught me all I know in music in 7th and 8th grade: listen to Primus, you aren't a percussionist unless you can play mallets, paradiddles, bosa novas, timpani tuning, you can get the funky fusion sound by hitting claves agains a bass drum, and a constant four on the floor as far as kit playing goes is just plain boring--it's more tasteful, and it grabs the listener if you do the kick with a sense of where the accents are in the music, lead into fills, etc.

I came oh so very close to winning tickets to the Nintendo Fusion Tour to see these guys. Surprisingly, I'm looking forward to this show, I like pretty much every band playing except Story of the Year *insert gagging*
