kai inspired me: yo la tengo: "don't have to be so sad", from the album "summer sun". it is one of two mp3s available from epitonic, the other being a cover of sun ra's "nuclear war". good taste, if i do say so myself.
apparently, the same record ("summer sun") also features roy campbell, and william parker, on a track, further showcasing their good taste (when it comes to jazz, anyways).
hmm...
why don't i ever pay any attention to this band? everytime i look into them, i realize more, and more, how amazing they are. and yet, once i stop looking, i forget them instantly. wierd.
anyways, now i'm listening to an audio-sample of the song d4rkj4nu5 was listening to. doesn't really sound too amazing (and this comming from a complete new order freak). i blame the sample though, just because i refuse to admit there mabye a new order track that is anything less than perfect. yes. -
