Yea, Dexys are great
Meat Is Murder - The Smiths
"Heifer whines could be human cries
Closer comes the screaming knife
This beautiful creature must die
This beautiful creature must die
A death for no reason
And death for no reason is MURDER
And the flesh you so fancifully fry
Is not succulent, tasty or kind
It's death for no reason
And death for no reason is MURDER
And the calf that you carve with a smile
Is MURDER
And the turkey you festively slice
Is MURDER
Do you know how animals die?
Kitchen aromas aren't very homely
It's not "comforting", cheery or kind
It's sizzling blood and the unholy stench
Of MURDER
It's not "natural", "normal" or kind
The flesh you so fancifully fry
The meat in your mouth
As you savour the flavour
Of MURDER
NO, NO, NO, IT'S MURDER
NO, NO, NO, IT'S MURDER
Oh ... and who hears when animals cry?"

so then, does that make morrissey a vegetarian? cool. now why haven't i heard that one yet? maybe i should actually buy one of their albums...
too bad my purchasing schedule is filled up for quite some time.
ps: does morrissey still feel the same way about murder, now that he's joined the mafia? a vegetarian mobster just doesn't make much sense, really, unless they're trying to lose weight, or something. -

If I weren't already a vegetarian, that song would make me become one.
You definatively should buy one of The Smiths' albums, preferably "The Queen Is Dead" or one of the single collections.
The Smiths > Morrissey solo.
Spinal Tap are hilarous. Do you always listen to music in your head?Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight

Oh yeah, my music of choice at the moment. I always listen a lot a band as soon as I've begun really liking them, if anyone's wondering.
I Love You (Listen To This) - Dexys Midnight Runner. -

I can be rather absent minded and forgetful at times, but my musical memory is rock solid. Just about any song I've heard more than a couple times is rattling around up there somewhere, and if I've listened to it a lot then I've got the bass line, every drum fill, etc. I'm just not so good with the lyrics.Do you always listen to music in your head?
Anyway, since I work in an office environment where I can't listen to music, I often find random tunes going through my mind, "in the background". In today's case, I was thinking about playing with my band tonight for the first time in months (we've been mixing our CD recently and not actually playing). Hence, Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight. -

You should get earphones Or one of those 'music spotlights' they developed for directing music at one person so no-one else can hear it.

I have the video of "Green Grass of tunnel" as well, just in way better quality (80.7MB) and in *.m2v format (which isn't really the best video format, I know).
Anyhow,
I'm listening to William Orbit's remix of "electrical storm", the U2 song. Orbit is a fucking genius. He made it twice as good...
