Are you fucking stoned?192kbps?! That's a pointless waste of disk space, especially when you can get similar quality audio for 64kbps
As for this RMJ shit... I've never used it. I might even consider trying it, if I wasn't so allergic to Media Player or Real Jukebox. -

right now my brain is being torn apart by some crap my mom is listening to. I'm gonna go play Midnight Run II and blasting a bus into the air in arcade mode. -

It isn't so much a matter of Real Audio of WMA having good audio quality as it is MP3s having peice of shit compression ratios. And yes, 64kps Real Audio is just a notch below a 192kps MP3.Are you fucking stoned?

I even fucking tried downsizing a file that big, to Real Audio 8 64kbps! Yes, there's a loss in quality, but nothing to get your panties in a bunch over, and certainly not enough to warrent the loss of disk space.
Also, Real Jukebox does suck. But Real One Player kicks ass, probably the best player out there (both in sound quality, interface and features... well, features when you get the $9.95 a month version).
And no, it isn't worth $9.95 a month, but I wouldn't want to go back to earlier player either. So, yeah...
Oh, yeah, I'm listen to that OMD track off Pretty In Pink, "If You Leave" or something like that. Great song... oh, just switched to the Cure's Love Song. 80's gothic-pop, yeah, baby, yeah! Or something. -

Seeing as WinAmp rapes them all, yes, I'll go with MP3's thank you.

I'm pretty sure that WinAmp a. doesn't rape them all, actually its a system hog, and isn't nearly as functional or complete as RealOne or even the latest Windows Media Player, and b. it can play both .rmj and .wma files.Seeing as WinAmp rapes them all, yes, I'll go with MP3's thank you.
Yeah, anyways... I made a little rip of two songs (both quite short) in .rmj 64kbps and .mp3 192kbps, just to prove my point to all of you mindless turds.
But I haven't uploaded it yet, so, um, uh, I'll do that now...
Isn't fun to go completely off-topic and start up a nice little arguement? I think so, especially when .mp3 is being protected. After all, it is one of the worste (if not the worste) audio file-type out there.
Oh, and mantis: nice, me likey! -

Have you even heard them? Yeah, in America they're veiwed as a one hit wonder, and one hit wonders are veiwed to suck. But, they don't! They are 'fun' music, as opposed to 'good' music, but they manage to pull of 'fun' with more artistic ability than most.
And, besides, we all need some white-boy Stevie Wonder! Particularly when it's filtered through some strange, kick-ass, space-aged, pop-electronica!
Oh, yeah, and here's my little .zip: http://www.angelfire...rdner/Proof.zip , and you'll probably have to copy + paste. Also recomended is the use of a download manager, because the file is quite big (7.11mb... damned over-sized MP3s!).
The two songs featured were chosen for their short running time, and the quality of musicality expressed within that short running time.
You can find out what they are when you download them.
As I said: both are featured in .mp3 and .rmj (192kbps and 64kbps, respectively) and all four of the files sound more-or-less identical, in terms of sound quality. -

I think Jay Kay or whatever he's called is the person with the most Brit nominations never to have won one. I think that's kinda cool.Have you even heard them? Return of the Space Cowboy
Travelling Without Moving

But not 'A Funk Odysse', even though I'd like it simply for 'Little L'.
Now i'm listening to:
Hollyhood to Hollywood
Wyclef Jean
The Ecleftic
