Mer De Noms, "Magdalena" ~ A Perfect Circle
Their music is really just captivating. Especially with the underlying religious themes. -

What on earth is that? It sounds like it might be some sort of wierd combination of her 'Can't get you out of my head', and New order's 'Blue monday', or a typo, but, um, uh, yeah; wierd. Can't Get Blue Monday Out Of My Head (live from the brits)

The cure
Disintegration
...from this, you'd probably think I have this album on an endless loop! But, its just on my playlist, like everything else I've ripped thus far (after having to factory-restore my computer).
Anyways, I skipped ahead...
The return, parts 1, 2 and 3
Peter Gabriel
Long walk home, music from the motion picture 'Rabbit-proof fence'
...so, see, I do listen to music outside of The cure! Although, there isn't much of a point in it, really... -

Okay, so tonight I was gonna get Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, but now I'm inspired to get The Wall. And I don't think my $25 at FYE will cover two double-CDs. -

Also...I saw The Thrills on MTV2 once, and I found them boring and generally "eh..." if that makes any sense. -

Why would you get 'The wall'? It does contain some of their best tracks, but it also contains some of their worst (and in greater measure, too).Save up and buy The Wall, if you already haven't! I love Pink Floyd, they are THE BEST!
My own personal reccomendation would be to get 'Echoes: The best of Pink Floyd' or 'Wish you were here', unless you already have them, then just get 'Speakerboxx/The love below' (if you like Outkast enough to get them, which you apparently do).
But for all I know, you already have made your desicion, bought your music, and this whole post is completely pointless.
So, at the moment -

- I want to get 'Vespertine' (sp?), but I think I'll wait for both her new record and the new Mum album, comming this year (if everything's on schedule), and then I'll get the new Mum, the new Bjork, and then both of the two artists previous CDs.
Presently though, my purchase schedule is completely booked for the next couple of months, at least when it comes to music (I'm still thinking about what DVDs to get). -

cg? - Hunter is such a good Bjork song, and I do recommend the Vespertine album. I might be missing a few of hers, but I do have Debut thru Vespertine...for some reason, Post is still my favorite complete album...
In regards to the Pink Floyd issue, The Wall is decent, but I prefer Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, and especially The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn. True, the last one is their first album, and Syd Barret is quite a strange one, but the quirky songs just appeal to me.

See, there's the problem...The Wall has lots of those tiny little fragments that aren't really songs, and even though Dark Side of the Moon is my second- or third-favorite album ever, those little filler songs kinda pissed me off. I mean, on Dark Side, there are really only four vocal songs, since Breathe is just a part of Time already, and Brain Damage and Eclipse are really only acceptable when played together.
Fuck it, I need some hip-hop in my collection anyway. I'm getting Speakerboxx/The Love Below. And then maybe I'll spend my $25 at Strawberries for The Wall, or something.
$25 at Strawberries/FYE should be enough to get a double CD, even though they're the evil major chains, right? -

Some evil chains charge as much as $26-35 for double CDs...it was appalling to see, but I did see it at least on The Beatles' 1963-1966 (The double Red CD).
Anyway...best of luck with that...^
