Ok ya, so I was driving around town doing chores for my mom, and I was listening to 102.7 KIIS FM (Pop, hip hop, rock, ect), and this song came on and mezmorized me. I got my cell, called up the station, asked what the song was called and who it was by, only to be told it was Britney Spears, "Toxic." I was all, WTF, how could she make something that sick sounding. So ya, that kinda put the song down a bit, but damn, the violin in it, or whatever it is, along with the whole bondish sound, it's just... amazing. I dunno, i downloaded it, and am listening to it now, in partial shame. It still sounds good, cause it sounds all clubbish. This is kinda like a recommendation, but I doubt any of you have as big as a range of types of music that I listen to, so ya, lol (no offense).
That's it. -

God, I hope Kirii is still around. First you put Glassjaw and Finch in the same signature, then you post about how you like a Britney Spears song. Mr. bokti would have a fucking field day.
And it would be brilliant. -

Dude. shut up...lol Toxic is an awsome song
Serisouly, that's what I'm listening to right now. Her CD is actually good. It's got a lot of different sounds. Sure, some may be synthed way the hell up, but it still sounds cool. If you don't like it, that's your thing, but I can overcome the fact that her last 3 cd's were horrible to realize that this is a good one.
So yeah...

But it isn't her behind the sound. It'd be totally different if she actually played an instrument, but she just sits there and tells the sound engineers and mixers what sounds good to her. That's creativity. And from reviews of her latest, it seems like people liked her older stuff better, better sound, more of an actual voice instead of her breathing into a microphone. Which, I would agree, now all her stuff is about being in the God-forsaken club, and then there's sex... but as you can see, I've experienced a musical epiphany myself.Sure, some may be synthed way the hell up, but it still sounds cool. If you don't like it, that's your thing, but I can overcome the fact that her last 3 cd's were horrible to realize that this is a good one.
