Nina Simone
Misunderstood
I love this song!
Nina Simone, huh? I've never heard any of her music in its original form, but there are two really good songs of hers on Verve remixed 2, which have been, well, remixed. Actually, Felix da housecat's remix of her Sinnerman is perhaps his best track, ever. He manages to stay true to electro clash completely, while delivering a soulful, organic little number (although I'm sure the organic soul has more to do with the original recording than it does Felix da housecat), which is just a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful thing.
On that note, I'm presently listening to...
Sinnerman - remix by Nina Simone and Felix da housecat
...great song, which I believe you can find at MP3.com (artist name Verve remixed, I think). -

Ross. Reminds me. I missed their performance on David Letterman, which I hear was rather humorous. Namely, Thom Yorke apparently doesn't like Dave too much.
