As I've stated before I don't agree with what happened from BOTH sides, let me repeat that! BOTH sides! I don't agree on any personal vendetta but both parties justified or not only piled on.

and yes cena got sued hence the printed file I referred to. and I actually didn't start this topic to have this bitchfest, I just wanted to say both parties are in the wrong and I don't think a ban was justified but hey that's just me. and I have to give it this time for the topic not being locked, it's appreciated

If there are 2 parties involved and as bg said they both make mistakes. Why take it out on one party rather tham both? Sure something mightve happened/said on one side that was justified for a ban. But know more than likely it happened based on actions from the other party. If it was indeed 2 sided as bg states

Thank you posix, now that's a good post and can hopefully provide something of an end to all the fuss from H2H6 having to do with the RDs. I was quite pissed off by the post you locked the free K0NG topic with. imo an admin should never be making a post like that.

If I have an issue I doubt I will contact you privetly. I did that when Wanted was banned and you left the convo without a word. Naturally id hope that would be what you would do in future. I prefer public, but we'll see.

You posted this in the last thread and this seriously bothers me. During the first or second week of H2H, one of the three moderators banned me for saying "seriously..." in the H2H topic when someone asked "where are the next parks"

I received no warning and no PM. Oh, and I was banned for 3 weeks. You insult me by directly lying to me when you say no one gets banned (for 3 WEEKS rofl) for nothing.



On another note, Posix, Liam, and Louis deal with a lot of shit. In the KONG and Cena case they might have gone too far. I'm not really sure. I still respect the time and effort the three of them put in to the community.

I REALLY appreciate you shining a light on what actually happened.
Transparency is always preferrable, in my opinion.
NE can't be an unofficial therapy group for stuff members are dealing with IRL - even more so when any form of psychological abuse becomes a standard for them.
Just for your information, and to keep up the transparency, my choice to not participate in any release prep work anymore is final (the choice I first talked to you about after the K0NG incident and renewed ~ 3 months ago). NE has become a 'community' (and I deliberately put that in '') that I don't want to spend my free time for anymore.

I also appreciate the honesty and public enlightenment of what actually occurred. We now all have a better understanding of the events that transcribed this year and can stop pointing fingers at who's in the wrong or if the admin's are truly as strict as they are perceived to be. This entire H2H6, most of us were left with the illusion that the admins were getting out of hand and wanted nothing else but make the Reservoir Dogs lose. This evidently was not the case, as there were more serious circumstances that occurred. I for one, respect posix even more and will continue to be a part of this community for years to come. As should the rest of you.

Stuff like this certainly harms the community and I'm very thankful you posted this Posix because quite frankly...I think the reason some people are not always supportive of your actions is the fact that you seem very aloof (I hope this is the right word (unnahbar is what I meant))...no offense...
In my opinion you often come over as very distanced from it all, not necessarily trying to be superior, but just distanced in a way that some people might missunderstand as trying to be superior. In the cases of K0NG and Cena maybe being distanced was what made them mad at you => you tried to stay out of a conflict that wasn't yours while they thought that your word alone could end their troubles...so they possibly got mad at you for not interfering (in a way that helps them).

I think that this post though is kind of what people want to see of you more...just actively taking part of the community (which you are of course doing more than most other people) but also talking to us in a more personal way. I feel like all these years that I've been here I've learned nothing about you basically I can't even picture what you'd be like in real life...not that i'd need to, but I could imagine mostly any other member standing right in front of me. Posts like this help though and it'd certainly make it feel more like you were kinda one of us instead of being the guy above all. Maybe make it seem more like you wanna be here to keep the community, our community of FRIENDS, alive, rather than to just keep rct alive together with a bunch of strangers.



^that said, from what you said it sounds horrible what you had to go through but I'm more sorry for you that a situation like this where you're being publicly called out is happening, when you are infact the person keeping this site alive having pushed it to a new level with your visions for it...must feel horrible for you seeing how many hours you put in for this community. So please know when I say this in the name of the community that we all really appreciate your work as admins!

Yeah, you can't just throw around death threats even over the internet and then later go "LMAO JKJK" and expect no consequences. Cyber Bullying is an issue that is taken quite seriously now adays, you can't go around saying stuff like that and get off scot free...

This whole site needs to take a chill pill. There's more drama in this forum than an entire season of (insert any reality TV BS Show here).

This kind of stuff has been what has been driving some of the older members away from the community lately. Not just restricted to the issues at hand, but the general atmosphere of the site has grown to be a sort of cutthroat atmosphere of entitlement... People seem to expect praise and awards to just be handed to them. I've posted many times in my team forum during H2H6 about this kind of thing, along with remorse at how LL is treated nowadays. I just wish people on this site learned to respect each other and to work for what they want instead of just posting a 90% unfinished screen every 10 mins expecting praise or constructive criticism.

I had always been wondering what was going on with the whole K0NG / Cena ordeal but never wanted to get my hands dirty. What's not my business is not my business to stick my nose in. I really appreciate such a clear explanation of what's going on. I'm appalled that you guys received death threats and empathize with you. You guys have been amazing for the site. I can't even begin to explain how much I admire what you guys do for NE, posix, geewhzz, Liam, and Louis, and everyone else involved in the behind-the-scenes work. It saddens me that you guys pour your hearts, souls, and wallets into NE and the return on investment is nothing but a constant stream of hate mail and death threats. I wish Cena and K0NG all the best, but the measures you guys have taken are entirely justified.

This is a personal message to you, posix. I've brought it up several times before, but you are the reason I am still here (as sparingly as it is nowadays). Ever since that comment you made on Caesar's Legions. That comment gave me a reason to keep playing. I've taken it with me all these years. I've attempted to model myself after you as a member of the community because I respect and admire your wisdom, your words, and your passion. Unfortunately, I have only failed in this undertaking, but I just wanted to let you know how much I respect you. Hell, as I write this I lament the fact that I cannot write as elegantly as you do... and English is my native language.

So one last thank you for everything you guys do, and I'm sorry you have to put up with this shit. Hopefully we're moving on from what I consider a dark era in NE's history, and some of the older veteran members will decide to stay and continue producing fantastic work. I worry that they won't. I worry that I won't, even if they do.

EDIT: Also, I both disagree and agree with SoCalCoasters about the drama comment. There is a lot of drama here, yes. It's frustrating seeing it all on a site dedicated to a video game that is almost as old as some of the members. At the same time, there are some things that are naturally going to come with some drama, as people really do care about this game and this community.

It's quite understandable that you didn't want this in the open too much, but if you have loose cannons around it indeed gets quite hard. People are quite judgemental about situations while their knowledge about it is often incomplete. It's something that is on my mind a lot lately and I bring it up a lot lately to try to get people to think first and hold-off on their judgement because missing elements may lead to the totally wrong conclusions.

That's why I'm actually glad you took the time to write a thorough explanation about what happened Posix. Ofcourse the people involved will have their side of the story, but I have to admit your post would explain an awful lot. In the end I think this transparancy was a good move, especially for the community. That said, if the asperger stuff is indeed true, then it might have been a ticking time-bomb. I've had to deal with a co-student before who had the same and lets just say they come with an instruction manual: you need to know how to deal with them. If you know there isn't much of an issue, but you MUST know. You can't really expect that from an internet community though. It's not an enviroment they thrive well in.
