You would think that after we've been through this topic and things have finally calmed down, K0NG would let it drop. I had a hunch from my experiences with him that this would only be a temporary thing though. Since it led to a "down with the oppressive asshole admins" petition last time I tried to filter out all the annoying drama individual members like to stir up, this time, for once, I will update in public.

K0NG is threatening me and the site with a lawsuit he says he has already prepared and ready to file unless I post I was "in error" when writing about what happened during H2H6. He says he will shredder the lawsuit documents if what he wants is done.

This behaviour reminds me much of Cena who went further and further and further after mistaking an internet rollercoaster video game fansite for real life. Really .... a lawsuit over an internet forum bitchfight the accuser himself is responsible for. Every normal member would just tell me what the problem is. K0NG did not go into any specifics, which would have enabled me to give a halfway adequate response, considering how ludicrous this is. He just said he is "not happy with what I said about him". From this line, the only remotely justifiable concern of his I can think of is that he doesn't want some of his private life details I was made to learn about posted on the internet. K0NG, if this is what this is really about, no matter how amusing I find it that it's coming from the guy most notorious for shitting upon and verbally stabbing other members for years, you will have to quote precise examples for me to consider wasting my free evening time on having to further deal with you and your problems, and edit my post, just so you will finally let it go and be less of a nuisance.

He also said he wants to be made a panelist again by the way, although I think this is outside of lawsuit related demands

Well, that's one way of evaluating the situation at hand. Another would be to realize that you posted 'facts' about me that were anything but factual and I'd simply like you to retract them. The only reason the site itself was even mentioned in my request is because you made the statements while acting as a representative of the site.

For anyone interested, here's the PM I sent to posix, in it's entirety:

If you'd like to take that as some sort of "threat"...it's entirely up to you. Though, the fact that you posted the above reply less than 3 minutes after reading my PM (including the time it took to type your post) is quite an indication of the knee-jerk reactions typical of you in matters such as this and sheds some light, IMO, on the amount of thought that's gone into a lot of decisions that have been made recently.

Like I said before, when I read some of the things you said, I was as angry as I'd ever been here. That's when I filled out paperwork. Since then, I've obviously realized that there was a much better way to go about things and tried to communicate with you directly to discuss the matter. Apparently, you'd rather try to make it a much bigger issue and continue down the path that got us all here in the first place.

I haven't posted in this thread, mainly because of moving across the country and not having internet, but what in the fuck is going on? I almost don't believe all of this is happening. It's all very childish and as others have said, I wish it would just stop.

There was to be no monetary compensation or punitive action sought. The "suit" was simply a legal demand for certain defamatory statements to be "immediately and permanently deleted from the specified posted, public document followed by a posted, public retraction of said statements as being baseless and speculative in nature with malice being the sole purpose of the author". No more, no less. It was also my immediate reaction to the events that occurred...to be instigated as a last resort should no practical resolution be available. As I've already stated, I since decided to proceed in an entirely different direction, which was of no concern to anyone but posix and myself until it was made public today.

When posix crossed the line by posting blatantly false statements regarding my personal life, it became about more than just a video game.

I tried to let it go by refusing to continue the topic. What would have been "too easy" was for posix to simply respond to my attempts to rectify the situation privately. It may seem trite to some, or most of you...but being a business owner and head of a family, I can't allow anyone to publicly state, as fact, blatantly false, defamatory information that could possibly affect both my business and family status.

Again, I made numerous attempts to deal with this privately.

Guys, stop carrying on about it, K0NG made a wonderful statement above, there is no need to go on about what could have been, just let it go. The man apologized, and did it in a very respectable way, that should be all that matters. Whats done is done. K0NG is back, and history is history. Now lets all build roller coasters.

What I don't understand is how your real life persona would even be linked to a very unknown website, that it would so much as even be relevant to your business. It seems like you're saying that whoever you do business with, knows that you're 'kong on nedesigns, a site for a game?', I'd understand if this was some more relevant part of the internet, but seriously who would care or take anything on here seriously, if they even knew of it's existence. You've just confused me even more that's all, granted none of it matters now, just peculiar to me xD

I'll side with KONG on this one in that it's very easy to find shit out about people... It's why the smarter among you don't post under your real name on facebook. I'll also side with him in that he shouldn't have to repeat the exact statements that were said so that 1. it doesn't give them any more credence and 2. so it doesn't make it even more google-able. And let's not play dumb--I think it's really pretty fucking obvious which one's he's talking about. Hint: It's the statements that don't involve this website or anyone on it that he interacted with.

In favor of Posix, he's dealt with an unbelievable amount of bullshit over the feelings of two random strangers on a bullshit website about a 12 year-old game with a dwindling fan base that he runs in his spare time, even though that means he rarely gets to play it. And as I've already said, KONG is an asshole, deserves the reputation, and knows it. He could have worded the email better. Much better. Much, much, much better. It's really not the point though--posix is fucking exhausted with dealing with this shit storm over nothing and a poorly worded email that comes off as arrogant and defiant was enough for him to assume that KONG was continuing to be an asshole, even when I really don't think that was his intent at all. Can you really blame him for assuming that, KONG? After all of this, and all of your comments?

K0NG, if the statements are false then PLEASE just get over it. I'm actually dumbfounded to your email and you say "you may take this as a threat", of course anyone would if legal action is mentioned. You're playing a very clever game to try and gain control but you don't actually realise you're losing so much more respect and you will never gain control on THIS site from your actions. I'd hate to visit a forum that people actually wanted myself to leave it and it's really becoming that way with you. Posix, I've been shaking my head for what you have had to deal with. It's not acceptable and I'm tired of being someone that doesn't speak up for the people that are getting shit. I think we all know you're the best admin the site has ever seen as you've stuck with the site through thick and thin.

Posix, in all honesty, I think the best thing you could do is shut this site down.


Maybe just for a little while until everything blows over and people realise that they can get on with their lives without NE, as some people around here seem to take it way too seriously.
