How are everyone? Not been here for a while, again.
I think this question must have been asked a hundred times. Is it possible to run RCT on a mac? If yes, can 8cars and all those essential tools be used aswell?
Actually got a job at Liseberg this summer, as a ride operator. I'm not working at all the rides but have been assigned to the area called "Kanonen", which includes Sagoslottet, Hanghai, Drakbåtarna, Flygande Elefanter and of course, Kanonen. Now that I got a much better knowledge of how the park looks and especially my area, it was pretty fun to view my RCT Liseberg park again. Some stuff I got spot on, but most is way off haha. If I started the park now it would be much more accurate, and the crew areas where I initally mostly made stuff up would be dead on.
Anyway I've been inspired by this experience as a employee at Liseberg to attempt a realistic park of my own design. BUT my PC is broken beyond repair. I've been running on a Macbook for 6 months now and I love it. I won't buy a PC again in a very long time, perhaps some time in the distant future. So it'd be awesome if someone could tell me if, and if so, how to run RCT and all the extras on a Mac. Cheers -

From having used Boot Camp, I'd definitely suggest an emulator over it. Boot camp partitions the hard drive permanently, so you have to completely wipe it to reformat it. My Mac is also completely unusable right now because the Windows side of Boot Camp became so corrupted that I can't properly restart it anymore. I definitely should've just gone with the emulator in the first place and probably would've avoided these problems. -

I use Parellels to run RCT on my MacBook pro. So you need XP but once you get that on it, it works perfectly. -

Well, this just sounds terrible. Ling, any idea?It does work, but I can't get trainers to work with it, so it's pretty much useless.

I posted about this in Ask the Experts before I noticed this topic. Has anyone found a way to use trainers when playing RCT LL on a Mac?
Maybe I need to come to terms with the fact I'll most likely never play LL again -

You can do LL without trainers... Li'ampolis 500 BC, my majorly underrated LL bronze, is built without any hacking for the most part. In the worst case, you can still have others do minor hacks for you. If you don't feel like starting a project of your own if you can't hack, I might just have the perfect park for you, where you're free to contribute as much (or little) as you want to and where others can do some hacking every now and then.
