No more double helix... will definitely try to be at SFFT opening day for it though.
May need to make my way to SFMM again for the first time in about 4 years too next year.
WHERE did you get this picture? Argh way to leave us with a cliffhanger, I can't find any sources on this through google?
edit: sheesh I'm too stupid just ignore me. The website has it all -

I cant wait to get more info on Iron Rattler and Full throttle! They've basically just confirmed what we already knew. I'm very excited about Iron Rattler, could be an Airtime machine, sure hope so!
As for SFOT, I'm actually satisfied. I think a 400 foot skyscreamer is ridiculous, that will get people in I think. It looks good, flat rides are almost always good, and you gotta love the red white and blue scheme. But it also leaves a lot of empty space where flashback used to be, and the strip mall and bumper cars are still open for hopefully something awesome! -

^^Wait, so theres track on each side of the top of the loop? That's insane! I didn't see that at first. Nice to see this addition to the park though I don't think people are going to consider this in the same league as X2, Tatsu, or Goliath. -

You may not believe but I had that idea of the loop before and I was thinking on a layout to put on my park "Worlds Of Music"! When I saw the video I was like
And did you saw the comments on youtube? They are saying things like: "What a disappointment. Yolo? really? Screw you Six Flags", like they do better, this looks great!Six Flags 2013

^^Looks great? Full throttle looks great? Looks horrendous. Short. Awful capacity. Backwards launch that looks pointless all to be wasted on a hill leading to brakes. I had hope for this being quite good but what a disappointment. Well played CP for building something worthy of having a large inversion and not using tacky phrases like yolo.
Iron rattler looks good from the one video I've seen.
I hope Knott's gets something good to replace Perilous Plunge. Something more worth while than SFMM's 2013 efforts.
Is there any decent information of all of their 2013 stuff summeraised out there that isn't on SF's website since it doesn't like having a desktop webpage on a mobile device? TPR's only just posted a few things which is utter shit and any other coaster forum I've seen hasn't had much more. Guess I'm waiting to read Screamscape's summary tomorrow morning... -

At least SFoT took out the parachute ride. If not, we would then have four tower rides. And I'm sure they would advertise the shit out of that record.
Dammit, Six Flags.
Edit: Lol http://content.sixfl...screamin-eagles GO BIG! YOLO! -

I think it looks fantastic. Some terrain chasing turns and airtime woulda been way more awesome, but damn that ride looks beautiful amongst those trees and in that tuxedo paintjob.
The backward launch really helps give the impression the ride is longer than it really is. I'm afraid of the capacity it'll run at SFMM. It's a premier to, the one and a half I've been on have been great (Mr. Freeze and Powder Keg)
I think the biggest lesson here is that SF needs to fire all of its advertising anybodies. Seriously that sucked. YOLO? Fuck off six flags. First top hat? Lol what a joke.
And yea there really isnt a really good coaster website sadly. TPR is active but the site itself sucks, feels like I'm in 2002, and Robb and a lot of his group are total jackoffs.
Anyway, good to see SF is atleast investing. Iron Rattler looks to be the best coaster so far for 2013, glad it's at my 2nd home park! -

It could be an intentional piece of shit to make their next coaster seem like it was made by God.
It might also only go backwards because of a response to all of the dumbasses asking CP if GateKeeper really goes backwards. The ride might stop doing that unnecessary crap launch, and just accelerate through that tunnel.
Oh, gee! I can't wait to ride the first coaster in the world with a top hat! -

He never said it was the first top hat in the world. He said it was the first element to ride outside a vertical loop as such - the element itself is a top hat. Don't be so pedantic. But yes, the video was still awful. -

the backward launch bit looks cool. I bet they end up turning it off and just go with a regular launch though...
also, barrel rolls everywhere. not sure how I feel about this anymore... its not gonna be cool if so many of them have barrel rolls. but im interested to see where it is headed, hopefully not just layouts built around loops and bland inversions like most beemers. I liked woodies because they dared to be different and I don't want woodies just being like any other steel coaster.
hopefully the enticement that "omg looping woodie" would have on parks making more woodies won't put companies like gci out of business... -

This video shows a good amount of Iron Rattler.

THe airtime on the drop back off the cliff looks insane! This ride is going to be so much quicker than rattler was. It was torture riding that thing.
Having ridden the Giant I'm super excited for this. Especially since it's so close! -

... I was expecting a wingrider at SFMM
however, Iron rattler=HOLY SHIT.
But I'm still pretty dissapointed about Full throttle, it feels like SFMM constantly tries to break as many world records as possible, even if it means basing the entire rollercoaster around one element. -
Pacificoaster Offline
I knew it wasn't gonna be a Wingrider. I heard rumors about a Premier for some time but I was really hoping they weren't true. I really, really wanted an Intamin blitz that would be a cross between Maverick, iSpeed, and Storm Runner. -

from what I can see, Gatekeeper Iron Rattler, Gold Striker, SW7, and Outlaw Run look like the most promising attractions for next year. I'm very excited for all of them.
I was thinking about any possible (major) attractions being added to Knott's in the next few years, and considering that it's landlocked I hope ghostrider gets refurbished
