Titan is hardly a clone, there is one other like it and it's not quite the same. Better even. And way more unique than any out and back B&M hyper I think.
Im just afraid there gonna say "Here's a 300 foot tall swing ride! go big! woo!" and not even get a coaster at all... -

Goliath/Titan's final double helix is insane... I've never seen so many people black out afterwards from that. The airtime from that huge camel hump over the first drop is also pretty awesome. The advantage Titan has over Goliath is the extra helix going into the MCBR. -

Exactly. So what gives? -

Positive Gs don't do anything for me. What I'm mostly pissed about is that SFoT always gets fucked over. I went a little overboard, with the removal of Titan, but mostly since it was more of a rumor than Flashback. I would just as soon rather have Titan removed than Shock Wave. Sorry, they just aren't fun for me. Also, Shock Wave has a HUGE footprint... And looks a bit outdated and ugly.
One park though, that has it even worse than us, would definitely be Valleyfair. They haven't had a new coaster since Renegade, which wasn't the best GCI could do. Even their "Waterpark Overhaul" was just a new wavepool... -

In the back seat there is great airtime on the first drop and also the airtime hill after the turnaround. Could be more I know, but those two spots are nice. SFOT really got fucked over with New Texas Giant... -

Fucked over with NTG???!!!
Shockwave has some great airtime to in it's second half in the very back.
On tpr a lot of people have been fitting rides into that empty corner, such as medusa or x flight, but I have another idea for SFOT to get some airtime.

Nobody has considered that if there were to be a hyper above JRS Flashbacks current location would be the perfect place for a station and still leave lots of room in that corner for future expansion. Very similar to SFOG's very successful Goliath.
lol posted that at TPR, will probably get banned for something. That website is so usefull but full of idiots. bleck. -

Dude, you guys got NTaG last year, which is one of the top coasters on the planet. Be happy that your home park's last coaster wasn't a Zamperla Motocoaster, and your last big coaster addition was a B&M invert in 2004 that's considered one of the most gentle inverts. -

Well that was our first coaster since Titan a decade ago but no biggie IMO.
I think that Knott's is about to get a world class coaster. There's a lot of hype, the Shoot the Chute being removed, and seeing how good Skyrush is, I'm betting something like that or Leviathan if it's a Beemer, will be there soon. -

I just hate when people complain about CP when it's their home park. Especially the GP.
But you're right. NTG is pretty much the only coaster on that side of the park that I ride. It's amazing. -

hi everyone thought i would stick up my local park build ideas/plans for 2013 season.
Alton towers are currently in the build process of a new coaster code named SW7 it is a coaster manufactured by Gerstlauer, there are 8 inversions which are visible on the plans currently available, with a dark section of the ride. in the no limits recreation there are two lift hills some rumours are saying one of the hills could be a launch hill instead of lift hill.

Gold Striker looks like a great GCI! And I wish Cedar fair would release that program they've modeled all there parks in, would make a nice RCT4
Six Flags Great America just posted a teaser that basically confirms they are getting a sky screamer.
EDIT today is arguably the most exciting day of the year as far as RC news goes.
Is SFMM the only park rumored to get a NEW coaster? Rattler reborn and SFSTL's boomerang arent new as far as we know yet.
"Full Throttle sound as if it's gonna be epic though...
Screamscape,
"(8/30/12) While we eagerly await the final announcement about Full Throttle in a few hours, today’s rumor has more to do with how the ride will reuse the old monorail tunnel through the mountain itself. The tunnel will not be a station as some have suspected, as the real station will go up near where the Log Jammer station was. Oncethe train launches through the huge vertical loop, I’m told it will actually rise up the mountain, climbing over the Superman plaza area, before it turns and dives back down and right into the old Metro tunnel on the far side of the park.
What exactly will happen inside the tunnel is a bit of a mystery, as they are hoping to add some kind of special effects in here. The mystery part isn’t that no one knows… it has more to do with the fact that the final budget for the ride is not entirely set, and things like this have a tendency to get cut from the budget once construction starts. (Anyone else remember those fog filled “tunnels” that were supposed to be added to X2?)
What I do know is that your train will apparently come to a stop in the tunnel, and much like Superman: Ultimate Flight from SFDK, your launch out of the tunnel will actually begin with a reverse launch back up the hill to gain a little extra momentum before you fall forward back into the tunnel and launch out at “Full Throttle” into that giant top hat" -

CF (and many others) has contracted out the NoLimits team for their rides... I thought this was common knowledge. -

Annnnd SF's 2013 plans are up. Iron Rattler looks/sounds amazing. Full Throttle looks different, but fun. Texas SkyScreamer looks like it'll be fun too. Overall, a sad 2013 for the chain. -

No more double helix... will definitely try to be at SFFT opening day for it though.
May need to make my way to SFMM again for the first time in about 4 years too next year.
