Whilst it was a boring game, I think every English fan will be happy with that, we did a lot better than expected.
I was impressed with our defence, which is the part of the team normally lacking. I just can't wait until we get Rooney back so we have someone to push further forward. -

I've always said that a 4-4-2 with two fast strikers doesn't work, unless one of them has some presence like Rooney. You need a stronger player to play deep, hold the ball up, and the faster striker to play off of him.
Young and Welbeck are two of the same player, wasted together. I'd rather see him sack Milner off and play Young out wide. -

I think what he meant was that Benzema actually left his spot upfront too much to collect the ball and nobody really took his place when he did.
And I absolutely agree with that, I thought the same thing during the game. Often times he wasn't in the box when a cross could've been brought in. -

Yes that was what I meant. He dropped way too many times to the midfield so there was no target in the front where the ball could go. Therefore, the ball mostly went back with shots from distance as a result. France didn't move enough, they were too static in terms of positioning.

So, tonight I predicted Czech will win 1-0 from Greece.
And Russia will destroy Poland with 3-1.
