Italy played fantastic. I just love their style of play, it seems so effortless.

Its that old maestro pirlo, I nominate him for player of the tournament. As i said after Italy beat England ... I knew that germany had a game on there hands but they just didn't turn up on the night. Balotelli was great tonight also cassano and montolivo along with pirlo.

@Wanted. BTW no offence bud but us europeans no doubt watch more football not soccer than you. I agree spain are the best passing team there is. Its not like we dont like the way they play(They are missing villa that just adds that attacking edge that makes it even better and with out him its just pass ... pass... pass) its just they have won the last 2 tournaments. We are not hating on the way they play just that they have won everything and its nice to see a new winner. And anyway i think out of the 4 teams in the semis i would say spain were the 4th best this tournament, I just dont think they have been impressive at all.

I would say spain. 4th, Portugal 3rd, germany 2nd, Italy 1st,

Italy have really impressed me this tournament so far. They were all over england and now all over germany.

I hope Italy win now they deserve it and i would be suprised if anybody said they dont.

I didn't see that coming, thought Germany's pacey attack would cut through an aging Italian defence like a knife through butter. Kroos slowed the game down far too much, and playing Kroos, Schweinsteiger and Khedira just didn't work. Three pretty slow players in the middle of the park, with only Khedira really making breaks forward. Couldn't help thinking Reus, Gotze or Muller would have injected more pace into the middle of the park.

This game would've been a different one with Reus/Schürrle/Klose starting.

What the fuck is this little personal attack? And it's wrong too. I'm sure you watch AS much as me. I watch the Italian league, Spanish league, and the Premier league. I also watch the Euro cup and the world cup. Also the south american teams. I also play competitive football. Yeah I live in America, we call it soccer. I'm used to it. Big fucking deal. Fuck off.

I understand the hate of Spain because they win everything. But it bothers me when people attack Spain's playstyle.

Its no personal attack sorry if you felt that way. Thats why i said no offence. I just figured because most football matches are on in the early afternoon 12:30 - 4:30 which would be early morning in the US. It was just a guess as you might have guessed that i might not watch a lot of nfl because its played late at night in the US making it even later for me.

germany cant complain with the end result. i was furious when ozil scored that pen. i really wanted buffon to get a clean sheet. i think the first goal shook germany. it was a shit goal too other than the cassano play. it really was a cheap goal to concede. no crit about the second. balotelli bullet. overall though italy played outstanding. great passing and hunger for the ball. i was impressed yet again by monntolivo he really is a talent. i dont even nneed to mention pirlo. i think spain will have a tough time playing them but i can see them just edging it maybe 1-0.

Wat a shit tournament. A Dutch total failure and again Spain wins, with it killing my enthousiasm for football.

Spain played simply the best football I have ever seen in the first half. Truly incredible, bravo.
