General Chat / Damn, I wish there were RCTers who live near me.

We only have four coasters that aren't clones at SFOT. But I guess I really shouldn't be complaining.
At least we all don't live in Alaska...

So... Like most of the Dutch Community at NE I live within an hours drive of about 10 other members. Parkwise it's about 20 mins to Drievliet/Duinrell, about 75 Mins to Walibi Holland/Efteling, and less than 2 hours to Slagharen, Hellendoorn, Bobbejaanland, Toverland and possibly more. (Probably forgetting some, not counting smaller parks)


That's what you get from living in a country that's smaller west-Virginia.

Yet, you never showed up at any meeting.

Knotts Berry farm is 10 minutes away from my house & I drive past it everyday on the way to and from school, Disneyland is about 30 minutes away, Universal about 45 mins away and SFMM about 1 1/2 hours away, On a clear day (in LA's smoggy vicinity), downtown LA is perfectly visible.
I haven't been to any of these parks in nearly a year however
Surely there has to be another NE member or two who lives in SoCal

A lot of the RCT legends either lived in or went to school in SoCal (USC).

Northern New Jersey for me, like 45 minutes from New York, 1.5 hours from SFGAdv and 3 hours from Hershey.

I live in Valencia, CA. I live off of Magic Mountain Parkway and am about 2 minutes from Six Flags.

North suburbs of Chicago, less than 5 mins. from Six Flags Great America.

Bellingham, WA.

On another note, not too many NEers up here in Toronto, I don't think. We do have a B&M giga though, so that makes up for that.

I live about 25 minutes from SFoT and about 1 hour 15 min from that dreadful place in Oklahoma.

Toverland is not even half an hour driving from my place.
Bobbejaanland is not even an hour driving from my place.
Efteling is about an hour driving from my place.
Thinking about it, we kind of do have a lot of parks in holland/belgium/western-germany

I'm performing, got a trampoline act in the new extreme sports show. It's pretty cool actually! I'll be living and working here until November, so if anyone's going to make a visit here, drop me a PM!
