I like that entrance area a lot. I don't understand all the hate directed at the path... it was a pretty common style to use for an era back in the day, and while it's a bit busy I think it complements the architecture really well. The biggest thing I don't like about the screen is that it's rather lacking in color. Everything is either tan/brown or that teal/blue, and even the foliage kinda fits the teal/blue look.
Some reds, oranges, or yellow, worked into either the flowers or the architecture could really help liven things up. Turtle is also right about the foliage, that the selection is kinda "cooling" the whole composition and while it's nice to keep things unified it's making the screen kinda bland.
It's also cool to see something in a more classic "NE style". Kinda reminds me of Rivers of Babylon a bit in terms of overall approach. Which is really refreshing these days. RCT2 seems to have kinda lost RCT's textural identity and this kinda brings it back. ^_^

I like the architecture on the pic but in my opinion, that path always screw everything. It's like pitbull [some incorrect claim].
So... this comparison doesn't work because in Shotguns? screens there's actually something good whereas pitbull's tracks are just a total torture tour. (Sorry, couldn't resist)
Shotguns, you're a good builder and all but tbh your stuff is starting to lose my interest. I think the problem with ncso is that there's only so many options, and you have to be réálly talented to keep that diverse. You are able to build something nice with it, but imho not (yet) able to build refreshing ncso stuff on a regular level. It's technically good and all, but just doesn't feel very inspired anymore. Hence I'm gonna suggest it again: Why not try where that skill can get you in a cso scenario? Even if only to get new inspiration for your ncso stuff. -

^haha, but I think that he understood, and I forgot to say, Shotguns?, you're improving much better, I think that you're one of the most promising peoples here -

for serpent sculptures, take a look at seaworld adventure bay, the GCI has a decent serpent maybe you can take a look, the entrance is nice but try to have a different path colour than the buildings are... -

^wanna hear something ''funny'', you already voted on the serpent. It was released in thieve's run. -

I agree that your way of building is suuuuuuch a breath of fresh air and it looks great, but I always can't help but to think your work looks like Rivers of Babylon half the time. You did yourself a huge favor by looking at an excellent park for building tips and inspiration, now apply it to some new ideas. You have some really promising stuff though and honestly, could flourish into one of the great future builders here. Keep at it, dude! -

It may be that the path is too cohesive to the archy, I'm deciding wether or not to change it to paving.I like the architecture on the pic but in my opinion, that path always screw everything. It's like pitbull, the music can be awesome but when he start rapping, the song is spoiled...
That's looking very nice, good start. Interesting shapes, and a nice setting. Be careful with those trees though, they pull all the warmth out of the screen.
I'd add some more colours in, warm colours. What with the aqua everywhere, the dull browns and the trees, it's a cold looking screen. Add some yellows, oranges, warm purples, warm greens etc., will liven it up a bit I think.
You're improving very well, though. Keep at it man.
Thanks , turtle. I wanted to have a cool setting but I think I pased the boundary to where it becomes too much. I think lightening up the foliage is probably my best option to really get more atmosphere.
Thanks!Listen to Turtle and beware of pointless detailing (and pointless discussions; I can't say this enough), and everything will be okay.
Thank you dude! See Bc's post. It's great detailing but that tan path just kills it for me. Try the concrete path.

Thank you, I'm going to give the foliage more life and give the place more atmosphere.So... this comparison doesn't work because in Shotguns? screens there's actually something good whereas pitbull's tracks are just a total torture tour. (Sorry, couldn't resist)

I do do cs and it has improved my NCS tenfold. It may be ncso that makes you feel that way or it may be me.
Thanks
Thanks!I really love this. It reminds me so much of the early days of RCT2.
I'll keep that in mind when I do one againfor serpent sculptures, take a look at seaworld adventure bay, the GCI has a decent serpent maybe you can take a look, the entrance is nice but try to have a different path colour than the buildings are...
Something made me think that you were going to like it. Thanks.Very nice. I'd keep the path as is.
I have some ideas flowing to create some quite interesting areas. The rapids stairs is as far as I know unpeepable in LL, but you can make them peepable in RCT2 -
posix Offline
It's possible in both. RRP has done it, and geewhzz too.
Again, don't build because you want others to say it's cool. -
trav Offline
Peepable rapids stairs are easy and have been done to death in both games. I'm afraid it's nothing new, sorry. -

I want to see you finish something soon. You look to be promising but keep showing screens that even you say wont get finished, But what ever floats your boat shotguns.
