I personally can't imagine how fisch wouldn't get mvp for our team, but jonny was probably best rookie. Interesting stats though. although I would've placed WOF above terra progressia, and that's not just bias (well, it is a little ). probably cars land a bit higher too. Generally a pretty solid list though. Maybe someone could make a list in order of vote percentage for each park (although this would favor matches with parks against unfinished parks)
I'm sure there's a ton of other interesting stats that could be made too. -

Well, I tried to base it on releases so far, rather than contributions in backstage areas too, and Jonny made a much bigger contribution to NinJong than Fisch, whilst Fisch made a bigger contribution to SoS than Jonny did to Tivoli, but not by as big a gap as on NinJong -

Cool analysis Trav, but why do you dislike our Olympic Park so much? I personally think its one of the coolest parks I've seen:] -
trav Offline
It didn't look anything like London, went through this in the topic haha. I didn't like all the traffic because it all crashed into each other, the architecture looked nothing like London, and the tudor houses weren't that great either. I really liked the Olympic aspect of it with the stadiums, they were really well done, it was just everything in between that I thought could have been done better, maybe if Six Frags had had a bit more help with the park so he wasn't so pressured with it. -

I think it's my best work to date and I think your "opinion" is very insulting. But that's just my opinion. -

You're free to think that, but I've said it from the start, even saying it to you over AIM, so no point in starting shit now is there? Not all of your work is going to please all of the people, get over it. -

Really nice review Trav, think i'll judge the parks as well. Bear in mind, I want to judge the LL parks, but I haven't actually seen any of them in game yet, so will judge from the overview. I KNOW this isn't perfect, but it will have to do for now.
Week 1 -
Flying Germans - Adventure Isle - 65%
Heaven's Kitchen - Atlantean Ark - 60%
Hurricanes - Zombieland - 70%
Replacements - Sea of Sagas - 85%, maybe 90%

Heaven's Kitchen - Monstrocity - 70%
Hurricanes - London 2012 Olympic Village - 80%
Replacements - Tivoli Gardens - 85%
Reservoir Dogs - Pixar - 65%
RevoLLutionists - Lost Samurai - 65%
Week 3 -

Replacements - Nin Jong - 50%
Reservoir Dogs - Atlantis Resort - 70%

Hurricanes - Busch Gardens - 55%
Replacements - New Fantasyland - 70%
Reservoir Dogs - Galaxy Geeland - 70%
RevoLLutionists - Siege of Jerusalem - 90%
We've had at least one absolutely standout 85%+ park every week, which is brilliant. I've been very impressed with the consistency in quality from both the Reservoir Dogs and the Replacements.
Standout players from each team - (basing this on the first 5 rounds only)
Flying Germans - Robbie's work in Edda is the best work you've done in the competition, but i'm going to have to go with Fizzix for his improvement in The Classic. Please work with custom scenery more often, man!
Heaven's Kitchen - Difficult, actually. Liampie has to be in there, as does FK, Wick and Pacificoaster. I'd maybe throw myself and AVC in there too. No one really stands out, but I think that's a really good thing. By the way, this will probably (definitely) all change after the finals.
Hurricanes - Kumba has to be in there, two good parks from him. Everyone is saying In:Cities, too. I'd add to them Six Frags, for a brilliant week 2 park almost solo, and Walto for his work in Avatar. I actually have NO idea who's going to go in the finals, either, which is exciting.
Replacements - Fisch for week 1, also trav for consistency, and Jonny also. Nin maybe. Another really good team across the board.
Reservoir Dogs - Cena for the sheer amount of hacking he's done and taught, and scenery he's made. Maybe Belgian Guy also. I'm sure this will change for the finals though.
RevoLLutionists - Has to be Pierrot. Doing AMAZING things with the game at the moment. -

^ You seem to have forgotten something there. Or, are you saying that none of our parks were worth mentioning? Guess we're just the luckiest motherfuckers ever, huh?

you know there were 6 teams right?
I'll write a full write up post finals but for me Sea of Sagas is the stand out park of the season followed closely by Le Rêve Parapluie & Lijiang.
There have been thankfully very few unfinished parks and not one forfit. Unfinnished parks suck but there is nothing worse than working your ass off and then finding the other team didnt even send in a map.
Congrats to all the teams though We've seen some stunning work. -

Was just thinking yesterday it was time to have KONG back. A welcome juxtaposition to all the dewey-eyed 13 year olds. -

^ Yeah...I grew tired of the Vincent Vega look, grabbed my Halloween skullcap and took a new avatar pic. So....I guess that would actually be K0NGenberg. Ironically, in our RD circle....I was Mr White already, so it was a natural fit.
And, thanks for the welcome....it's great to be back (albeit on 'parole').
BTW....while I'm on the subject, can we please have a moment of silence for MA's moment of silence for my gag order................
