good idea, full scale aerials are a commodity at this point. when all people should be voting from the parks not having aerials might encourage some of the theoretical bad voters to step up their voting game.

Anyways, I understand that real life comes first. I just kinda wanted to stir things up around here since there have been so few posts.

I love how people continue to feel the need to tell us that real life is more important than RCT, like that's obvious, nobody ever questioned that. I just think it'd be nice to see a post letting us know what's going on, just something that would take two minutes and hold off the inevitable questions that are gonna come when there isn't a single post in the entire H2H forum for four days following a deadline

And I agree that the full scale overviews being posted a few days after voting opens wouldn't be a problem. Anyway, this post wasn't really meant towards you posix or anybody else on the admin staff, I appreciate what you guys are doing

There are but three people at this site capable of doing maps because as Dave said it's not easy. I've tried to recruit more people to help whenever I saw someone who showed signs he might have what it takes (namely Photoshop competence and motivation to support the site). This was successful with Casimir and Dave himself, who together with me are those three people. I'll be more than happy to post matches without the maps as this will certainly help get them out sooner. We can also arrange it so that you guys fill in all the mix of HTML and bbcode of the match post (what regards your team) yourselves which would make opening a new match a matter of how quickly the two teams can communicate and provide us with the code. The only thing we cannot outsource is the approval of the two parks and the uploading of their attachments. The approval, again, is a difficult and time consuming job which Liam and I currently do, as we link all objects into a database for the "geewhzz-and-i-had-too-big-plans-for-ne4" object database we always wanted but that then never saw the light of day and probably won't, ever, unless we find ourselves a super pumped and capable coder.

This might be a biased opinion, because I know how to do it, but I think making the maps is more tedious than difficult. It just takes its time, which is something I just can't afford right now due to college lecturers going apeshit crazy with assignments.

People are not allowed to vote without seeing the parks in game. Not doing the full-scale maps would not have to influence the scores. This will encourage people to view the parks in game which would help to get rid of votes by people who have not seen the parks in game.

I can't see a comment from someone that state that he needs the full-scales. The only problem would be that even less people can view the LL parks. That would be the only problem I think.

Take your time. I honestly don't mind it if it will take longer or if the you will not provide us with full-scales anymore.

I would not mind helping out by making those maps if someone can explain which part of photoshop and the game I need to know, then I can check if that will work out.
