Ok, for starters, I referred to "a German person" as "Mein Fuhrer", not "Hitler". "Mein Fuhrer" translates literally to "My Leader" (or, via the Dictionary.com translator, "My Guide").

I don't care much either way, but there's a bit of a inaccuracy there. Since the Nazi party promoted Hitler using the title of 'Fuhrer', the German people have not used the term for any political leader anymore. The term has effectively ended with the man, and as such will forever be directly linked to him. While its literal meaning might not have changed, the historical value of it shifted rather a lot.

Just use 'Uberstormbahnfuhrer' in the future and everyone will be a lot happier. Plus it just sounds better.

In my opinion, today, "Mein Fuhrer" is synonymous with "Hitler"... just stop. You could offend Germans, Jews, and a whole bunch of other groups when you refer to somebody in a way that could be interpreted as calling them Hitler.

K0ng, I understand that you made a mistake. You failed to recognize the existence of connotations, and when someone was upset by what you wrote, you could have apologized. For instance, cunt means "vagina", and I called you the denotation, a vagina. However, it is a word that offends many women as they consider it misogynistic, and if a female member of the forum told me I offended her I would apologize. Because I'm not a dick who ignores reality out of stubbornness.

I honestly don't think anything is "funny" about this topic, and I'm a bit irritated by how people can find pleasure in turning themselves into "spectators" wanting to be entertained by individual beefs people have of which ALL seem completely exaggerated for the mere point of it.

This is the rare and highly anticipated H2H we've all been waiting for, and this topic is ruining it for me. The idea is to help you guys get motivated to actually play, and from what I see in the team forums so far it's working quite well. Why do you have to just want to be assholes to each other in here?

I wonder if the same amount of effort taken to create these seemingly pointless and inconsiderate arguments will be put into the entry parks? I sure hope so. Looking through past H2H parks and seeing all the brilliance displayed certainly makes me hope so.
