H2H6 / H2H6 General Topic

I'm a kid and I don't mind not being drafted. I realise that I'm not good enough for H2H6 and I know that I need to improve if i'm to be drafted/picked in any future competitions. For now I can just watch.

Meh, It doesn't really bother me much anymore. Maybe I'll be picked if someone drops out, probably not. Lately, I've been a bit of a douche, so I'm not surprised I wasn't drafted.

NE is and always has been about having the highest quality. It may be elitist, but that's the way things go around here: either get good or know your place.

I'm not sure that being "elitist" is any problem around here. The fact is, NE runs on a class-based society, whether anyone likes it or not. This forum is a lot smaller than most, therefore it is more close-knit and reputations established on this site are almost perminant. Everyone knows and has a good idea of their skill level, therefore they know what to expect. If I started on this site with work that was awful and had no potential, complete with ultra-extreme intense coasters and no trees, then everyone would look down and not expect much. If a month later, I started producing accolade quality work, then everyone would praise me.

If someone that produces spotlight quality work on average produces work that although is great, is not up to their par; they will be constantly criticized for it.

Hope to see something from you soon. Metal masters finished would be great as a start.

Just went on Amazon and ordered a new RCT2 CD, and an ounce of wormwood to make my own absinthe, which upon the arrival of both I will finish Metal Masters. Shit is going to get real.

I dó think however, that some people treat the ones that didn't get picked, and are upset about that, a bit too harshly. (Sorry for giving an example, but especially looking at Kong now...)

My comment had nothing to do with anyone not being picked. It was in reference to jag's incessant "poor me, everyone hates me, no one respects me" attitude that's been his 'signature' pretty much from day one.

Haha, it's not that. I'm just surprised considering how much trading there was last season, especially with trade-happy Kumba as a captain again. Hell, he told me he drafted me in H2H5 specifically as trade leverage, so I'm surprised he's not doing the same with some other poor soul this time around.

^Exactly. We had one thought for a trade...but that was only because one of our guys was MIA and we didn't want to be stuck with an empty slot. But, he showed up and we're exactly where we wanted to be.
