As if geewhzz was that active before H2H5. The last thing I've seen by him before H2H5 was El Encierro in January 2008.

Theming skills are irrelevant in your comparison. Geewhzz talent is making environments so realistic, it's scary. Robbie, RRP or 5Dave can't do that like him. Also who cares about hacking? Do you really think Levis will get drafted earlier Geewhzz just because he invented the thrill lift? It was geewhzz who first used that hack in a park where the hack itself wasn't the goal.

I can see some surprise first and second picks if you ask me. Anything can happen. It depends on what sort of a team each captain is after.

Nin & Kong, both rookies could build a surprise team. Magnus probably will do the same as in H2H5. Darren is unexpectable. Liam will go for a mostly Dutch Efteling styled team/atmospheric team I think (people like 5Dave, Ruben etc, I expect) And you Louis will go for an LL team.

So yeah. I expect surprises from Nin & Kong.

No one knows what I am going for. They can assume what I am going for and who my first few picks will be, but no one will know for sure.

I could be going for an all LL team or I may have realised that it stands no real chance what with the LL parks having to go up against RCT2 (LL often being judged lower) or that there may not be enough LLers signed up for me to justify a team. Or, I could be thinking, fuck it, I'm gonna try!

No one knows what the outcome is, until the draft.

I thought I should just let the captains know that I won't be available between the last week of July and the first two weeks in August, as I'm going to Oregon for my grandfather's birthday then and will only have a very slow and very expensive dial-up connection available.

ill be supprised if i get drafted because i havnt released anything.nevertheless im adamant to get involved and participate. if i get the chance, im sure ill impress.IMO, my archy is top notch, foilage above average, layouts above average and theming has grown drastically in the last months.im not going to just show screens in my topic just to get drafted. if you notice my topic is mainly for constructive feedback, not for showcasing screens thus i never really show anything absolutely complete. im a horse that looms in the shade! your call. hahaa.

I don't think the captains will have a problem with this since you are the best around here and they would work on a solution for this problem.

True, what the H2H makes so great is that people who are normally not motivated/ able to finish parks can do it during this contest. I know for myself that i need pressure to finish things and lose my intrest when a project takes to long, that is why I signed in for this contest, to show you what I as totally unkown player can do in rct2.

Oh as some advertisment (because i think there is only 30% chance that i will be drafted) to the captains i got some intresting ideas and will be available for almost the complete period

Dude, you can't be serious. With such parks as "X3- The 6th Dimension" and "Power Surge," everyone will surely miss you. These three weeks will be an epitome of complete pain and agony as a legend such as yourself leaves this marvelous community. You will be surely missed and praised by the community upon your arrival. Yeah, I'm looking forward to the draft too. So many decisions to make for the captains; Will they go for reliability or do they take a gamble with unproductive parkmakers? Did they only went with screens or actual released work? Do they go for realism parkmakers or fantasy? RCT2, LL or a mixture? Newbies or oldies? Draft players to trade them later on? Bring it on!

You're right, I apologize for the rudeness. I'm not one to talk myself. I shouldn't have been sarcastic but it really annoyed me when he announced his departure making it seem as it were to have an important effect on the community.

He didn't. He warned the captains that if they were to pick him, he would be away for a few weeks towards the end of the season.
