Hey guys, I just wanted to make a topic for everyone to talk about any ideas they might have for a new park/design/project.
I simply think it would be cool to hear some ideas that others have for projects, and who knows? Maybe this could spark some inspiration within one another and lead up to some members working together on things they find interesting:]
Personally, here are some ideas I have for future parks. Maybe I'll get to them one day, or maybe even finish one. I just think it would be cool to go ahead and put them out there.
- A Blizzard Beach type waterpark
- A recreation of Disney's Vero Beach Resort
- A brand new Disney themed Resort
- EPCOT
- Downtown Disney
- Busch Gardens [South America themed]
More to be added! -

A park where all the coasters in the park leave from the same general area. the idea is to have that hub on top of a mountain, then have a valley with big peaks beyond it. The roller coasters would travel inside that valley in a big tangled mess. The hub itself would be opposite of the entrance, with the transit system having to go through the tangle of coasters.
The idea is that while passengers are transported to the roller coaster hub, they spend the next several minutes looking at their imminent doom while traveling. Loops would tangle around them, screaming trains passing them. It would be named Valley of Fear and have nothing but extreme coasters. It would be owned by the same company building the Dark Realms theme park, naturally. -

- A park themed to a futuristic city, with influences from Metropolis, Blade Runner and retrofuturism
- A park that starts as a tropical island resort, but slowly evolves into a a fantastical adventure park area to area
- My ideal Disneyland. Basically my favorite parts of the parks I've been to, emphasizing my favorite aspects, warping things to fit my flawed memory
- A park themed to Nintendo games (Mario, Mario Kart, Paper Mario/Super Mario RPG, Luigi's Mansion, Metroid, Kirby, Legend of Zelda, F-Zero, Starfox, Warioland)
- A park/multiple parks themed to the games of Suda51 (Flower Sun and Rain, Killer 7, No More Heroes, Shadow of the Damned, Lolipop Chainsaw)
- A Star Wars park with the Death Star as the centerpiece (with indoor details) and iconic locations surrounding it
- A park inspired by the work of Joseph Heller in which I start at the corners and work inward with no regard for the park as a whole until I'm halfway done, at which point I try to make it a well-designed park -

Whew....I thought this was Liam misplacing a post about some new project to go along with "Thoughts".

Well...
I've been experimenting with an idea for a Formula Rossa recreation, for starters. Not a full-on Ferrari World Abu Dhabi recreation, mind you; the architectural design prowess required for something like that is more optimal for someone on RCTNW's ability of massive building design.
And also reviving and completing Digital Domains and Teletopia, those two old Fusion parks that (disappointingly) never got finished.
As of late, I've been looking through old Atari, Nintendo, and Sega games (on emulators) to get some new ideas for Digital Domains. I'm thinking of implementing a Galaga-themed flying coaster, as well as some other miscellaneous ideas floating around in my head...maybe even extending the original with a second map. -

I was thinking about to make Plopsaland (a real life themepark) after I finished MWM. And I'm also thinking bout doing a design while working at MWM, 'cause I really want to release something in 2012. -

-a story park. That is, a linear park in which the journey the peeps (or the viewer) would take around the different areas is more meaningful and also tells some sort of interesting story or idea.
-a diagon alley scenario thing, in which some regular looking building in a city or whatever opens up into a fantasy area crammed in alleyways. I breifly experimented with this coming from an Irish pub in NYC
-zelda. but one where I define the themes and areas more/different than how they are represented in the games. and I adapt the themes enough so they would look good in LL
probably more that I can't remember right now. -

Well since we all know I'm never gonna finish Retlaw/Starbird, here are the ideas I had.

-Caribbean themed resort
-Mexican/SW/Mayan themed resort
-Modern/Retrofuturistic resort
-Pop culture themed resort
-Victorian themed resort
-Pacific Island themed resort
-Pacific NW themed resort (campground)
-animal themed park
-Hollywood themed park
Feel free to use any of these. Or lend me a hand since I am terrible at resort planning -

I was thinking about creating a coaster that travels in sync with a song. I.e. the readme links the player to a YouTube video and tells them to start it at the same time the coaster starts. All being well, the song reflects the actions of the coaster train, its current surroundings and so on. Just as a first thought, I was considering “A Whole New World” from Aladdin, with the coaster (“Magic Carpet Ride”) gliding gracefully through sweeping crests, drops and turns, travelling through exotic scenery and overall reflecting the tone of the song.
I’m not sure if this has been done before. Of course, some coasters have custom music, but I’ve not yet witnessed specific synchronicity. -

Ride6 already did it to an extent in QFTBX, but not really to the level of synchronization you're speaking of. The ride is fast and wild, much like the "Surfing with the Alien" song it's paced to...yet what hurts the overall ride is that the song isn't all that ideal for a "songster" due to that pace. -

I found this interesting article. It provides more than enough resources to build off of. I think it would be so awesome to do a Port Disney/ DisneySea park!

I might be down to build this with a few other people sometime in the future. You know, once all of this H2H nonsense is over with:] -

I've thought about building a city with a park underground, It probably isn't a good idea though.
Also an Avatar-themed dive machine -

My Ideas
Thrill Village - I'm doing this park with franciscowdwpatrao;
Six Flags Great Adventure II - I start doing this before the Thrill Village,
and I don't know if I will continue the park after "TV";
Music World Cascais - Cascais it's my place and I love music so, if I
add the two ideas in one? I think that will be fun build this park!;
Unnamed Park - This project will be a recreation of a real park,
but I don't know what park (Warner Bros Madrid, Knots Berry Farm or a Six Flags Park)
I'm gonna chose ; -
