Some screenshots of my God of War theme park as it currently stands.

^The most recent addition to the park, Hera's Hedge Maze, inspired by Hera's large and dangerous puzzle-laden maze from God of War III.

^The real world Colossus of Rhodes, or in the GoW series, the first boss of the first level of God of War II. The Colossus in my park contains a large observation tower which travels throughout the internal structure of the Colussus, the guests love it and it has a great excitement rating. The Colossus can be found in the bay next to my recreation of Athens.

^A segment of The Hydra, a water slide that can be found in Poseidon's Beachfront. Modelled after the duel against the Hydra in the Aegean Sea at the beginning of God of War I.

^Currently one of my most popular attractions currently, the go kart track meanders throughout several key areas from God of War II. The one lap race will take you through the battle hall in which Kratos fought Perseus, will take you through the central plaza of the Isle of Creation, the outer swamp pits where Jason and his Argonauts die attempting to retrieve the Golden Fleece, and lastly before returning to the station, through the temple of Euryale herself, complete with stone soldiers.
Just a few tiny parts of what is so far a gigantic park. -

My god. Start again without those crappy WW/TT objects. They are ugly and now we can't open the park when finished... -

Looks like it's far too late for that, Cena, so how about some actual feedback?
The entrance looks slightly small as an area, if you have room, maybe open it out into a bit more of an open space?
The maze looks really interesting actually, I like it a lot. Love the parts on the cliff edge too.
The waterslide looks strange being all over water, and yet mostly enclosed... if more parts were open then the guests would be able to see more of the theming?
The colossus isn't really recognisable at the moment, it's a bit blocky... do you have any smaller scenery objects in your bench to add some details, such as clothing, weapons, face, helmet?
The go karts certainly looks like you've put a lot of thought into the theming, which is really nice to see. The only problem I see with the park as a whole, is if you're going to use the same scenery objects over and over again for all the different areas, then it's quite hard to differentiate between them. Try using different colours, textures and scenery objects to give areas more of an identity. -

Excellent constructive feedback again Cena!
I have a few comments on the screen. These are all things I would do differently; perhaps try each of them out and see which way you like it better.
I'd have the water in the screen a step lower than the land, I always think it looks like it's flooding when the water is the same height.
Try putting a building over the top of the information kiosks. Their scale always seemed a little off to me (how many peeps could you fit in there, like 2 and a half!), so try building something to make them look bigger.
The desert/grass combo seems off to me. How often do you see grass turning into sand like that in real life? I'd go for one or the other and stick to it for this area.
Grab a copy of the 8 cars trainer (http://www.themepark...51178&start=120) and use it to own all the land to get rid of those crappy border fences around your park.
In screen 2, try not having all the rock land pieces lined up to one another. Try jagging them all up at slightly conflicting angles and see if you can create anything better like that. There are some cool land objects that allow you to do arches and the like too, just download most of the spotlight parks here and I'd imagine they will have the objects in.
3rd screen: you need to add some more detail to the massive man statue. Again, there's some scenery that could help you - the quarter tile sculpting blocks that are (again!) available in most parks released here.
Next screen - this is a nice idea but I think another type of water ride (rapids? river ride? water coaster?) might suit what you're going for better. Also, the flames seem to be coming from nowhere. What you can do, is get rid of the water below them, build a pipe down from the flames to the ocean bed, then "Zero Clearances -> Absolute" in 8 cars trainer, then go back to the game - try to ignore how flicky the graphics are - and build the water back up. Switch back to 8 cars and restore the clearances, and when you go back to RCT2 you'll be able to see the pipes underwater.
The next screen obviously relies heavily on those TT objects, but the use of them is quite nice as much as I've never liked them or the path. Try mixing in some bigger, 1 tile trees into the foliage here as it looks more like a plant farm and less like a scene from a video game or a theme park!
As an aside, what I'd do if I were you is uninstall TT, uninstall WW and then just open every spotlight RCT2 park released on this site. That will get you a really nice database of objects to work with. -

To Cena: I had already begun construction on the park before I became a member of the site, I wasn't aware of the issue with using the expansion packs.
To Turtle thanks for the great comment! I'm glad you like the maze, the guests adore it but unfortunately can never seem to find their way through! I even reconstructed a path RIGHT next to the entrance of the maze that makes it possible to find the exit in probably three seconds yet they still can't figure it out. XD I think it's kinda funny actually, doesn't seem to lower my park rating though so I am just letting it stay.
I think you're right about the layout of the Hydra, I even thought that at first when constructing it, I think I should edit it to have less slopes so I can uncover it and not have the rafts flying off into the ocean. One thing I have always liked doing with water slides is an open piece, followed by a closed piece, followed by an open and so on and so forth.
The Colossus still is not finished, it's just it was such a pain in the ass making it initially I took a break from finishing touches and the arms and haven't gotten around to it yet, it was a lot harder constructing that thing then you would think. Obviously my architectural skills need major improvement.
One thing I have seen here on the site is people make their paths have multiple path tiles conjoined making one big tile, doesn't that confuse guests? I know it does in the first RCT so I have always avoided it in 2 but do they actually know how to walk through large areas in 2?
And in regards to the theming seeming repetitive it probably is just from the screens. The park actually is divided into many different environments and themes. Yet I can see why the Greek architecture might make them all seem similar, once the park as a whole is visible you will see the different themings.
And to Deanosrs thank you so much for the great comment again! You've been all sorts of nice and helpful since I joined, I appreciate it very much! Your comment is very helpful.
I will be honest I never really thought of that size problem with the Info Kiosks but after your comment I looked and you are so totally right, they must have little people operating them! The grass issue is just there because I haven't gotten around to changing the ground terrain in that particular area yet, thanks for the info on my terrain by the way! In regards to my rock features, I agree they are flat and dull and boring, I will take a look at some of what you brought up, speaking of which thank you SO much for giving me a means of getting rid of those damn border fences!!! They've been bugging me so much, I had no idea there was a means of removing them. -

it just looks like something slopped together from ww/tt objects, like some scenario you would find in game. I guess I would just say don't do that. -

Go all out on the double, treble and quadruple paths, the peeps can handle them in RCT2. It's always worth a trial run of your park's layout before you start building around the paths too much to check there's no areas where they get stuck.
And please feel free to ignore Brent.
Have a look at some other parks on this site for inspiration and post some more screens soon!
