I find it hard to find right stuff to place but I understand what you mean, however, there is stuff like temporary delivery routes and in later ''years'' you will see that I placed demountable offices.
What do you think I can do to make it more living? -

Don't make all paths two wide, add peeps, don't fill every tile that isn't path or a building with ugly foliage. You desperately need better foliage, with a more carefully chosen tree selection (no monkey puzzles or golden rain trees) and lower foliage as well. -

Alright, I will keep the foliage advise in mind and use it at my new park, that one doesn't have foliage at all
About adding peeps: thats hard when they don't come. -

The management can look back on a succesfull year.
At the start of this year ''Castle Anguish'' opened. A total of 1.1 million visiters have already seen the show.
The ride is 8.5 minutes long and features 18 animatronics.
Some pictures from ''Castle Anguish'' and the construction:
And ofcourse pictures from the darkride ''Around the World''
The ride wil cost 7.4 million dollar, the system will be delivered by Pinfari.
On the drawing you can see:
Blue: backstage
Orang: load/unload station
Red: queu/exit
Green: restaurant ''Compass Rose''
White: souvenirshop ''The Suitcase'''
Grey: scenes
In 1983 Europe will get its first rapid river. Restaurant ''The Rear'' will get a make-over. -

Your stair-railing is floating. Otherwise I like your planning and stuff, although I've seen everything already . -

This is quite interesting. I've never really beena fan of these "super realistic construction" stories, but I do have a thing for timeline parks. Looks good so far, can't wait to see the rest of the park. And I disagree that your stairs are floating. They look fine the way they are. -

Wow! Major trip down memory lane. I've seen/produced so many Dutch timeline parks like this throughout the years.
This is clearly how (in style/concept) a lot of Dutch parkmakers start out, and like many of them, you show great potential! For now: Try adding more detail and really focus on your foliage/landscaping. A good park is more than rides/buildings alone. (Heck, people constantly tell me my parks miss those two. ) -

The park is now seven years old and is does not only want to grow, it can actually grow.
Like prommised the ride ''Around the World'' openend this year, the ride system is unique.
While visiting the old square you enter an even older building where you deside to take a seat, not much later a huge globe is coming towards you, or are you moving? You don't have much time to think about it 'cause within the next few minutes you will visit all the continents.
A last look at ''The Rear'', Intanim has started working on the first River Rapid in Europe. The ride will be called ''Tiki'' and opens on the first of April 1983.
Construction really started:
You can see where the boats will enter and leave the backstage area and where the employees can eat:
Another huge announcement, in 1986 ''Melaus'' Will open the largest darkride in the world, more info will follow.
Unfortunatly the canoes will disapear.
1983
The first boats of ''Tiki'' left at the start of this season, with this new ride and the 1.2 millions that visited the park, ''Melaus'' believes to be in the top 3 of holland in 10 years time.
Some data from ''Tiki'':
[li]Constructor: Intamin[/li]
[li]costs: 8.5 miljoen gulden[/li]
[li]location: North-east boundry[/li]
Photo's made just before the opening:
''The Rear'' is now ''Uru Bamba'':
Pinfari started working on an old-timer track at the other side of the park, a souvenir shop will be added as well.
The first work on the new darkride:
See you next year. -

I stick to the point I made in my previous comment, although I must say; I'm really starting to enjoy the typically Dutch, rational soberness of this park. It is really charming to look at, so simple and minimal, while still having atmosphere. Although it feels a bit 'hollow' I respect your way of building and organizing. It is certainly interesting to look at. -

After the first trucks:
Blue is where the boats will be, black is backstage and the scenes are grey, bottom right is where the restaurant will be.
Under the floor you can now see is unother floor where the technique of the ride will be.

Next time more about the transportation system.
