I just noticed this now. You spelled forest wrong. It's with 1 r.
And btw. screw the orange fence. -
ScOtLaNdS_FiNeSt Offline
^^^^ Haha What an idiot i am The only reason its orange is because its close to the drop zone, Suggestion of colour or just the mesh fence ?, Thanks for pointing that out my 'forest mistake' bud -

I would suggest not having 2 shuttle coasters right I think you could do much more with the flat rides too. They're all just rides with trees around them. Looks boring. It's also a bad mixing of flats to that end. They are all thrill rides, no gentle rides. What about the people who don't want something intense? Where are the ferris wheels, the carousels? As it stands the park only would attract a small group of people because there isn't enough variety in the rides. Also, minor detail, but I doubt a park that small would get a big name like Burger King in it. Just speculation, but I'd think a smalelr park would have a more local kind of restaurant.
It's not a bad start. Your park has a pretty strong resemblence to Coupon's work, what with the bright colors, simple but clean structures, and just the overall feel. -
ScOtLaNdS_FiNeSt Offline
Yes i agree with you about the shuttle coasters But i was adament from the start i would have 3 coasters & i looked at it from a peep's point of view, The more coasters the better & with that space i thought fuck it Im thinking of getting rid of the go karts & replacing it with two gentle rides for the pussys in my park And about the resemblence of the park like "Coupon" is that a good thing ? -
magmoormaster Offline
Huh. I didn't even see the go-karts. I'd say leave that and get rid of the top spin or roto drop. But that's just me.
As for the comparison to Coupon, it certainly isn't a bad thing. -

*facepalm*Because i dont have the 1.32 thing to do zero clearance
...fine, here. And you want 1.302, not 1.32. Big difference; 1.32 completely screws up the game when you ZC with it. I guess fixing one thing breaks another.
*facepalm*When i used the support blocker on a tile it would not let me place a support footer on the ground because the support blocker was there, Which never happend before when i tryed it ?
...and that's why you need to learn how to zero clearance. Also, for track that's close to ground level, try placing the blocker one height underneath the ground.
And look at some real-life coasters for support placement; either in person or in photos.
I can't help but feel like we're going to have a collabo at some point in the future...
...Not now, though. I'd like you to get a little better and I need to get a lot less busy. -
RCTMASTA Offline
...Huh, that's weird. ja227's Support Blocker isn't ZC'd for me.
...Or is that not the support blocker you're talking about?
...okay, this is going to bug me until I ask it, so what the hell was with that burst couch remark? What does a couch have to do with verti's brain?!
He's right you know, it's a massive contradiction what you said. -
Goliath123 Offline
its called support blocker and its zero clearance, what more do you need to know? -
ScOtLaNdS_FiNeSt Offline
Yeah thats the support blocker im talking about but im sure before i could use it on the ground tile & put support footers on the ground, But it aint working now ? & as far as a collab i think you need to improve !, Im just joking i would be happy to do a collab with anyone i have a lot of spare time most days after work when my lady dont 'want' it lol.
Magmoor master : Yes the go karts are to the right of the entrance just put them there today along with that coaster but as soon as i made it, I thought about changing it, I dont want to change the roto-drop because its the focal point of the park because its so tall
Goliath123 : It must be a different support blocker because i had one that i thought was the same but it obviously isnt.
RCTMASTA : What i ment with that was his brain was "a burst couch" have you ever seen a burst couch the inside(the brain) is completely fucked & all over the place) Thats what i meant about that I didnt think anyone out of Britain would get it lol -

Why using a Support Blocker? It's much easyer to put the ground 1 heigt down, place a buch of flowers and put the ground back up. -
Cena Offline
^ Not really, your game will slow down a lot, since the flowers are animated. Same with the clocks. -
Liampie Offline
Doesn't make a noticeable difference unless your screen is crammed with rides and peeps and stuff a la Mount Doom, Vulture or Magic Realms Resort. -

Support blocker can also be used for clean-looking invisibility hacks, pretty big advantage there. -

^^^ Because i dont have the 1.32 thing to do zero clearance, Hillsburg park ? never seen it Im not using it as a excuse but this is only my 2nd park ... In a 'hopefully competitive nature'. I thank you for your comment I hope i can become a better park maker
When i use 1.32 version, my clearances cannot be restored,
So why do you ever want to use that for Clearance building?
Use 1302. 1.32 only is usable for Chain hacks. -
Welshcraft Offline
Honestly Your park looks so basic, when you build more you start to learn about realism and the use of Hax to your park to enhance your creativity. If you finnished it in a good standard for your park You could get a Bronze accolade if your lucky. If not then its still downloadable as at least weather you tried your best. You might want to change the woodie station if I'm not mistaken. -
RCTMASTA Offline
Uhh...I had just said that the day before. *facepalm* In fact, I gave him a download link to it.Use 1302.
@Liampie: And who could forget V-Key?
@ScOtLaNdS: Even with that explanation that doesn't make sense.
His brain isn't messed up, your two posts contradicted each other. Saying he couldn't complain about apostrophes or whatever and then arguing about them yourself is just...confusing.
@Cena: Hmm...the garden clock is animated? I didn't know that...huh, you learn something new every day.
Anyway, this seems to bear a striking resemblance to my RCT Fairs. The best advice I can give: Study hacks. Study theming. Study architecture. Study RCDB. Study old accolades.
Experiment with hacks on a blank map for a while, to learn how to perfect them. Focus on a single theme in a park, until you can learn how to effectively transition between them.
If there's anything I've learned here, it's practice, advertise, respond to feedback, and study to learn what you could do better next time.
Maybe you can tease and advertise with tiny pics, but make sure that what you're eventually going to release is worth those teases. If you post a bunch of teases, only release an unfinished micro park, people will get fed up with it and stop paying attention to whatever you're advertising, thus making you unable to see what you could do better in the eyes of others. Weigh everyone's advice, and choose the option you think is best.
If you submit crap consistently, you'll get banned, ridiculed, and otherwise lowered in your self-esteem.
Eventually, you'll gain more skill and rise through the ranks of parkmakers, depending on how much promise your work shows. Some just aren't cut out for it, other seem like they were made the part-which was simply achieved through practice and study.
Phew, I'm done now. Needed to let that out. -

It's animated because it always displays the correct time. And, I may be wrong...but I don't think anyone's ever been banned for submitting "crappy" work.Hmm...the garden clock is animated? I didn't know that...huh, you learn something new every day.
Also...there are no mods. Although you can close the topic yourself, since you started it. Topics usually close themselves when people simply stop responding in them. -
