    How does judging take place if - let's say - half of the panel is participating in this contest?
    A fair panel would only consist of people who are not competing, or am I wrong?

    One question: Is it one layout for the whole contest or more layouts?
    One one hand one layout for all would be the fairest solution, but then it would be kinda odd to have like 20 designs with the same layout, wouldn't it?
