So, as the title says, reccommend an app from the App Store. I'll start...
AirCoaster XL - $0.99
Being a rollercoaster sim, I'm suprised more people (especially from here) don't use it. Its basically a watered-down No Limits for your iPod. The graphics are decent, and you can build any kind of coaster you like with very scarce limitations. Its very easy to use, but complex and detailed enough to perfect a realistic creation or recreation. Unlike RCT, turning angles are unlimited (no 45/90 restrictions), loop size and shape is unrestricted. Also, when building, the coaster is divided into individual segments like RCT, but the height variation, turining angle, length of the segment, support placement and other variables are fully customizable.
The app also features an online community for uploading and downloading eachothers tracks, included is a "most popular" track list based on downloads and ratings. Within the community, users host contests and chats as well as clubs and groups.
For as many coaster fans we have on this site, I'm suprised more people here dont have the app. Its defiently one I'd reccommend to anyone who enjoys RCT and building coasters.
If anyone has it, my user name is "TW" or "TWCoasterForce." -

I enjoy Sketchbook Pro.
This looks great, I was thinking of getting a tablet, but touch might have less of a learning curve.. any idea if it has pen correction? -

I have Aircoaster, but I don't use it because the building style is frustrating.
I recommend:
1) Coaster Counter (I think thats the name) It's like a facebook for rollercoasters around the world, and you get to mark each ride you've ridden... pretty cool
2) Rollercoaster/Amusement Park Envi, they are very useful for looking at real life pictures and places to give you inspiration without even closing your rct window. -

Angry Birds sucks.
I enjoy Sketchbook Pro.
I don't like sketchbook so much ... it isn't user friendly for touch. If there was some kind of pen for it... -

If your looking for a game to play for the spare minute, i recommend tilt to live which is £1.99 for me but i dont know the price in dollars. Its core game mechanic is like geometry wars and it has 5 game modes to keep you playing.
Another classic game is flight control which im sure you have already heard of...
