I didn't insult QR. I said thank you for deleting my rant on him with and me because it was unnecessary Mcjaco. Lol, if he took that as an "insult" actually let me directly quote what I said to him. You think I insulted him? I said how much I appreciated him for all the countless hours he spilled into the games forum, but really that must've gotten to his head to think he's the boss of the whole forums and permanently ban me.

He's just too sensitive and immune to criticism that he'd of course disagree with me. Didn't expect him to manipulate my post on a forum where politeness is mandatory, and the fact he himself gets offended so easily.

It's sad really, that he doesn't realize what he did wrong when I clearly admitted it in my post that was deleted. Now isn't that a great alternative way of manipulating as well? Take away my justifying post to build up a very negative image of me?

EDIT: And I'm an NE elitist pretentious fuck? I've been on TPR for longer than NE, I'm not even that particularly good with the game. I voice my opinion and if "Colors are clashing. Makes the screen chaotic" cannot be posted without 4 people getting on me. Well that's just plain bullshit, I might as well copy+paste "but the screen looks great" at the end of my every post then.

It would probably be more effective to discuss your criticisms of TPR at TPR.

That is how I believe NE should be. Fair enough there are times where us admins will step in and close topics etc, but we don't do it often, only when things get out of hand.

I think we have a perfect system at NE. We're all adults, we don't need other people to tell us how to go about our business.

Just wanted to point this out, as it is pretty cool. Yeah, here there isn't a large group of mods keeping tabs on stuff here. That's cool. It really depends on who runs the site, and if that's how they want in run.

TPR is the largest Theme Park Site on the net, and truthfully there are a lot of industry people that post there, if not use it to read the pulse of what enthusiasts are saying. It's that part of TPR that does require more modding. The relationships that have been built with the industry people are important for the site as a whole (how do you think Robb gets access to film all those POVs and get perks on trips?). Not to mention there's close to 35,000 registered members (and yes, not all of them are active), so the traffic is much higher than here, which requires more "policing" for lack of a better word.

Like I said, I like NE. I just wanted to let Dotro know that he was not completely in the wrong.

And I'm only an ass when it's warranted.

Even if we had 35,000 members and we had Atari programmers and Chris Sawyer and whatnot looking at our site, I can still safely say that I would let the site run itself. It's something we are proud off. We step in when needed, but apart from that members generally use their common sense when posting.

To reply to you mcjaco I've always learned to say what I thought about something, I did have increased standards on the later times when I was active at TPR but I NEVER gave criticism in an offensive way or gave criticism just to be harsch, I think if freedom of speach is taken away because of only being allowed to say something is good then sorry that ain't a forum, that's dic(k)tatorship...

The members regulate themselves. Assholes are ridiculed and bigger assholes are ignored into obscurity, or at least they were. I think if TPR had committed to the lack of censorship early, your membership would be guiding themselves, too. Instead, you've put yourself in the position where you only ensure your own moderation jobs since your veterans rely on you to do their dirty work. To each their own. The only difference is that I could call Louis a cunt if I wanted to and he'd have a chance to respond publically. I think it's fair that we let the community decide if he's a cunt, not the moderators. Right, Louis, you filthy cunt?

You can call me shit all you'd like, use dressed up words to sound mature, but honestly, I've contributed so much to the TPR community it pisses me off when relatively new members who doesn't show promising work like you come and treat me like I've joined 2 weeks ago. Take the "Oh my god this picture is so funny, I'm gonna take the first opportunity I can to use it!" out of your mind. Deny it all you want, that's the only thing I saw from that post. I've written over 100 word reviews to players in need, I've given advice over chat, I've given tons of "asshole" advices.

WacoJaco if your only coming on here and trying to cause arguements between two sites then i would say please refrain from doing so and retreat to tpr. This is a site dedicated to the best rct work and as far as im concerned the standards are high here for a good reason because the parks on this site are top quality. And from what i have read your not able to have "constructive criticism" on tpr but on this site its promoted and hence we have high standards and the members on this site create the best work due to that fact. Seriously though stop this arguement is absolutely pointless.
