Had the opportunity to go to a small OALA open house for a Toronto based firm called Forrec. They were generous enough to invite the current Landscape Arch. students from UoGuelph. The firm, made up of Landscape Designers, Storyboard Artists, Architects, and Engineers, focus on the planning and design of theme parks/water parks/resorts and more around the world. They've worked on the likes of Universal Studios, Legoland, and Canada's Wonderland.
I met with a few of the professionals and got to see a behind the scenes look at their current NDA projects which was amazing! They have some really cool stuff in the works over in China, Dubai, and California. Their Toronto office is so fun and colorful too... they have a pool table and tons of lego pieces all over the place (Legoland loves them haha). It was a great opportunity to make connections and network, and I am definitely looking forward to applying for an internship there after I graduate.
It's Roller Coaster Tycoon in the real world! An awesome experience.

I bought a domain and got a personal website up and running. It's functional, but not yet complete. I can send the URL in a PM if anyone's actually interested, but I'm not going to post it publicly.
I also finally got a job on campus, so that's cool too.

Haven't posted for a long time now - that might be due to my study. But found some time to come back, at least to the forums.
Unfortunately no time for building

It is indeed.
It is the verb for keeping books.
when you say it like that it's as if i'm a librarian, but actually i'm more of a magician, who else here is capable of making an economic report of when a guy pays you back for the computer he bought from you for €400 that was worth €600 when you bought it, and has decreased in value by €300 using a separate book for the decrease of value of your computers.

I am, probably. I have a talent for putting lots of effort into pointless excel databases. I once made a sheet about RCT parks and what aspects of parkmaking are most important in winning H2H-matches. I did win H2H6 with my team afterwards though, so I guess it wasn't completely pointless.
