got HSC (high school certificate) results today, its the main college qualifying tests for new south wales.

 

got 5 As and a B (89 , of course in english, the bane of my high school career). I did extension 1&2 math, physics, chemistry, visual arts, and english

 

anticipating to get around the 98 percentile overall, so I should be able to get into honors physics at university of sydney

quick update, I got a 98.85 ATAR (pretty much a percentile), which is awesome. Unfortunately, I missed getting into the 'talented program' at university of sydney by 0.15 but what can you do

On a trumpet? Impressive!

Nah, closest I got to playing something meant for a non-wind instrument like that on trumpet was Bach's first cello concerto.  I learned that arrangement of Clair de Lune on guitar. The sheet music and tabs are in the description of that video for free if anyone wants them.

I finally got the courage to start writing.

 

 

I've abandoned the career path I was on (engineering) because I was slipping further and further into depression and it just wasn't where I wanted to be. I'm currently jobless and living out of a garage trying to figure out what to do. 2014 will be an interesting year.

As for running

 

During 2013 I've:

 

4:22 mile

9:39 2mile

14:42 3mile

3x Suburban League Champion (undefeated)

2x Suburban League MVP

MVP for both track and XC

League/ School Record holder

Broke alot of course records

ran over 2,000 miles this year

placed got 7th at nationals 2 weeks ago for cross country.

ranked Elite and All- American

During the entire year of 2013, If I remember correctly I've only lost 9 races out of 30 or so, yet I still placed top 10 in each.

(most of this was in the last few months)

Its been a great year and great 2 seasons

I might have something big to add to this, if I can break the world record for half court shots in a minute (10). My practice attempts have all gone well, but there are still a few more steps to take before attempting the record.

Nice times! I was a big runner in high school too. 4:40 mile, 9:55 2mile and 15:45 3mile. I was no5 on my team my senior year, and we took second at state. I had a shot to run at nationals (would not have got 7th though), but I decided to end my season after state and focus on wrestling. But seriously, your times are impressive.

I got a 97 in Latin and the Panthers are the 2nd seed. You all better be jealous.
