I got selected to play in an on-field game at a minor league baseball game. I won. It was fun as hell, and I got a free t shirt and a hat.

I have one in CA. It's out front by the curb so all our neighbors pick all of our avocados when they think we aren't looking... but they think they are sneakier than they actually are.

I hate neighbors. Our tree is in our back yard.

Took a week off of work to go on a vacation in Boston with my family. We toured the city, bought lots of stuff, ate lots of food, and had the chance to catch a Red Sox vs Yankees game tonight.
Before the game, my cousin snuck us into Fenway Stadium, and we walked along the 'green monster', in the dugouts, and on the field.



The game was back and forth for a while, and the pitchers for both teams gave up lots of runs and hits. It was 5-5 in the first inning! My cousin came in as a reliever in the 6th. Walked Granderson [bad call in the strike zone] , struck out Robinson Cano, and A-Rod got a base hit off of him. Then they took him out and replaced him with Padilla, who gave up enough hits to bring those baserunners in to score, ultimately giving Andrew the loss.
Kindof aggravating, but oh well:/

It was an awesome day, and quite unforgettable. Got to meet a lot of players and their families.

Looking forward to the doubleheader tomorrow!

Rescued a dog from the pound 2 days before his 'due date'. He's settling in quite well.

Moved into my first actual house today. Woo go me. Only here for 2 months until I go back to uni though, ah well.

Took a little trip down to Magic Mountain this morning.

Lex Luthor Review: Anticipation and anxiety are easily built up before the ride. Just looking up the tower is very intimidating. The best rides come when Superman is scaling the tower just before you drop. The tower will shake side to side and you just hear this "tink,tink" as the drop car is hitting the rails. The audio is a great addition because it is random when the drop will occur so it is hard to anticipate the time of free fall. Although ride ops were loading/unloading very quickly, the capacity is still only limited to so many people per hour (I think about 400). If you don't want to wait in the approximate hour long wait, the single rider line is a great option. Sometimes, the employees will allow 2-3 people from the single rider line to board on the same car. I did single rider on my second ride and there was not only no wait, but it took seconds before they placed 2 of our group on a car. Overall, one great addition to the park, and the other lines really benefited from its popularity. If rumors are true, 2013 will be an even better year at the Mountain, and I cannot wait to hear some details on that.
