General Chat / What's the best console?

What do you think? And why?

Wii of course. The other 2 are basically the same thing for anyone who doesnt own or understand a pc

i couldnt live without my pc. i used to own an xbox360 E250gb mw2 console but sold it to go to escape in the park. a summer festival. if i had to decide on having another console it would have to be xbox but ps2 have free internet so it really is a hard decision.

Xbox for great games and live.

Ps3, defenitily. I can't see where xBox pwns PS3..
PS3 gives free online play (without the xbox live wich will cost you extra money)
same games same price though ps3 had the first blu-ray

that's my choice of the three named consoles but I'd always go for my laptop since I'd die without it :$

Is playstation move any good?

PC of course. i have a PC, wii and an XBox 360, and PC is blatantly the best.

Hum I have a Xbox 360 and computer.I think I`d be fucked up without computer,but I`m not sure which console.But PS3 or Xbox 360 in any case.Wii wouldn`t be my choice since the others have also a movement control system and I`m a notoric Couchpotato.And I think also because of the games,Nintendo was never my taste.I think PS3 has some pretty awesome exclusive titles like God of War,Little Big Planet,MAG and Heavy Rain, but Halo is good too.Didn`t knew that Playstation online was free,but I collected many codes so I can play Live for free
So yeah equal.PC Xbox 360 and PC are all first choice for me.

BTW,Metro 2033 is exclusive for Xbox 360,yay.

A strong computer with an XB360 controller is second to none imho.

I have Xbox 360, but I'd ahve to say that PS3 is the best. Built-in wifi and free online memberships is pretty sweet.

The PlayStation 3 will welcome very soon the Team Ico's work.
And, that's why I love this console. Where are the very creative games on Xbox or on Wii (except Limbo)..?

I own a PSone (from 1997) and a PlayStation 2, and I often play with a PlayStation 3 although I don't own this console anymore. To my mind, Sony made out the best consoles during the last decade.

I was about to say the same thing, also the atari 2600. I do think the PC is better than any console though.

I think the playstations free online makes it better then the 360. And blu ray and Internet browser.

Playstation 3 owns, more specifically LBP. If they made LBP for the Wii or PC, I would definitely buy it as soon as it came out. It's just too awesome not to. And that's coming from somebody who doesn't even own one. All I have is the (meh) Wii. But there are (some) good games for it, so it's not all bad. I'd just really, really prefer as PS3

Wouldn't call it the best, but I do like the 360's interface and controllers compared to the PS3. Playstation controllers are awkward as hell.

Hmm all time favorite would have to go to PS1 or PS2.

As for current generation I would go with Xbox 360 for the controller and PS3 for the games. The Uncharted series blows my mind...

NES, SNES & N64

As my brother has a 360 and I have a PS3 in our flat, I must say The PS3 is the better console, but still I think the 360 controllers are better than the PS ones.
But as I'm used to them since the Bandicoot-days (haha) it's no big deal.

The games for PS3 are just awesome (Uncharted, God of War, LBP and the PSN games like Flower, Fat Princess etc...)
Also the BluRay, Browser and Free online gaming are a major plus for the console IMO.
The only thing I miss are games like Limbo and Alan Wake, but I guess it's only a matter of time they find their way to the PS3.
