I love the use of custom supports mixed with the NCSO theming. Overall i'm really liking this project so far :D
  • Airtime%s's Photo
Something about that inver half way up the last page that looks real good.

The ncso architecture in the last screen is all starting to look the same to me. Very box like with each using pretty much similar colours and textures. If each indiviual building was slightly bigger, I think it would look a lot better :)

    Thanks for the feedback!
@Airtime: Hm, I personally like those small houses, but I´ll look what I can do. I agree, that the architecture is looking more or less the same. I must change that :D

I didn´t got to play much the last time.
I build this castle, but it´s definitly not the final version.
    In there is a ghost-train...

There is a problem with the GG-duelling-Woody in the park...
I found, that it´s not fitting in there anymore, so I blew it up.
This is, how the park is looking now. You can see, how far I got and how much is left to fill...

Not knowing exacly what I´ll put in there, but there will be something :D

Now I have holidays and hopefully I´ll have more time to work on this park than the last month...

Judging by the overview, you might want to have some path elevation. You have hills around your paths and by your coasters for interaction, but the paths stay at the same level for the most part.

^ Ever been to a park located in Germany/The Netherlands? We simply DON'T HAVE HILLS.
  • Louis!%s's Photo
I have to say, Im liking the look of your park. It seems to have decent layouts and a decent plan. Great stuff.
  • MCI%s's Photo
@That Guy. Yeah, I failed on that. This is my first park this size and I was busy looking for getting anything done, so that I forgot that. But as Cena said, this Park is in the middle of Berlin, in this case too much path elevation would be unrealistic. But I´ll look for that point on my following projects ;)
    @Louis!: Thanks :)

Well, It seems I have something like a "anti-creative-streak" at the moment (and the last month). But I tried to do anything, so that I can finish the park before the apocalyspe 21.12.2012 xD

I´ve worked on the Suspended-Coaster Supports a little and on their sourrounding.
Hopefully I´ll get some motivation soon, It hurts seeing the park on my computer without seeing any progress -.-

But enough bad "english" for today! :D

I like it very much :D The supports at the top of the screen are fine but in the middle especially the ones next to the rapids look like if the coaster was to go by at that point the track would collapse, Try and support it more like you have done in the bottom left of the screen. Other then that very nice surroudings and it would be a fun coaster to ride :)

Considering that these Arrow suspended often have/had supports that lined the outside of a turn and not the inside, the only problem is that they need to reach farther from the track. Their placement, however, makes perfect sense.

Model them off of this and you'll be set.

Other suspended coasters do keep their supports to the insides of the turns, like Ninja at Magic Mountain, but it really depends what you're basing them off of. Big Bad Wolf mixes the two styles, so what you have is fine, just with a few changes.

@JDP/BelgianGuy: You´re right, some supports could be on the wrong site.
But this is a family ride and I didnt built a fast coaster. The Trains are never swinging around like for example on eagles fortress! The supports should fit well. But I´ll check that another time.
@coasterfreak: I´ll try to do some things you mentioned!

Currently I´m not working on the arrow. After long time of crative nowhere, I think I might be out of the slump. I got an (in my opinion) good GCI Layout to replaye the GG-Duellings in the center of the map.
It will be an wild west themed area.

Is that first drop inspired on Europaparks woody? Looks verry nice!
  • Louis!%s's Photo
The only thing I would say is that the first drop looks massive compared to the rest of the coaster, but it does look like a solid layout.
  • MCI%s's Photo
@Super G: The firstdrop is highly inspired on Wodan, but the rest is what came to my mind^^
@louis!: Hm, I´ll look what I can do, but you´re definitely right...

Today I worked on the park again and I finished the supports on the arrow coaster!
I replaced some supports and changed a few. There is one support still outside of an curve, but the train does not swing out there, I tested it a few times and I can find any "critical" support anymore. I hope it is better now^^!

I agree with louis and I'll go to ends and I say I expect the pacing to be WAY too fast with that big a drop compared to the rest of the layout
  • MCI%s's Photo
Hm, I made a new layout.
It´s not as high as the old one and I give up on the Wodan-kind-firstdrop.
I hope you´ll like it more than the old one, I like them both!

The end of the ride is identically with the old one...

I'm missing well composed interactions with other rides, paths and the landscape.
