Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to embed exe files within a html document? I need this for a program I made, much apreciated. I'm sure it's thru some sort of HTML source code, but I googled everywhere and couldn't find any decent results. Nothing worked. So.. can it work?
I know one way to do it but that would mean I'd have to pay $100 to buy a program called "Web Game Builder" to do the job. Anyways web game builder may be a money stealing scam for all I know but the free trial worked.
Thanks in advance!

^A friend that lies. I saw a number of forum sites with this same discussion using goole and nothing worked. I guess I could try more but I still think I will find it. -

^It isn't for that. I'm using it for my "ResView" application project. Its basically a folder and media viewer that should run multiple folders and files at a time per window/tab. I would like to embed it so multiple instances can be viewed in that single tab. -

Here's a little example of the unfinnished program:ResView.zip (70.84KB)
downloads: 2
You can drag and drop pretty much any image file animated gif or not, folders, zips, and any text document and it will open on the app's window. Although its kinda dumb without being able to run multipe stuff within it. I was even planning on getting an installer so that the files will "open with" my app, thus no drag and drop needed. Not sure what install package maker could do that. Yet another step. -

If you want a program to run in a web browser, you shouldn't be building it to an .exe in the first place. There are very good reasons that it can't be done easily. Java should do what you need.
