So, it's been getting close to that time for awhile now and i'm very surprised that this hasn't been brought up yet... (if it has and I didn't see it, my bad)
It's pretty obvious where my dedication lies in the college football world... however, I always love to hear good opinions and even the bad ones as well. Use this topic to express your love or hatred for that specific team or conference.
Here's my first dig: The Oklahoma Sooners have the highest preseason rated linebackers core, and i gaurentee you that the rest of the D will follow suite.. As for the offense, Landry Jones has his OWN offense this year and looks like the top QB recruit he came in as...
As for predictions on my part: I think Ohio State has the easiest schedule of any BCS school out there. Alabama has to replace too much to go undefeated and Texas will get CRUSHED by Oklahoma this year... So, I will say now that Ohio State and Oklahoma will meet each other undefeated in the Fiesta bowl for the national championship!
My teams to look out for: Iowa, strong potential and also that quiet team that sneaks up on you half way thru the season and by then, it's to late to figure out how they're beating you... Texas A&M, this team is alot further along then most realize. they could make some noise early... UCLA, maybe not going the distance but could easily surprise a top team with an upset.
Let's hear what you got -

ohio state is crap. they always have the sissy schedule and just simply cruise to the top of the polls each season.
god i wish they would play some of the SEC teams.
if the hurricanes can pull off a lot of wins with the schedule they have, we have a good shot at top 5 this year. -

^^^^agreed^^^^
I like what Shanahan has done in south beach but opening with Pitt and then Bucks on the road is a big statement to be made. That opening schedule is the reason I don't see the canes making an impact early, although they could make a statement right off the bat -

Looks like it's gonna be another low year for NC State...though playing Cincy and FSU on Thursday night in Raleigh will be fun regardless. -

Wow, typical OSU hate. Is that because you've been force fed Big Ten inferiority for 5 years or is that your own opinion based on fact? -

inferiority?
big ten is the softest major conference haha.
compared to big 12, ACC, SEC, and even the PAC 10, they're sissies.
yeah, Iowa has been decent lately, and i've always like Michigan a little bit, but other than that theres nothing that really impresses me -

^^^Hey, at least we don't get caught for cheating like those lazy bums at Chapel Hell. -

The Triangle has some good baseball between State, UNC, and Duke. Football is a different story here. -

Haha, I watched some of the Plant-Manatee game on ESPN earlier. Not sure how close either are to Miami, but they both looked STACKED. -

plantation is right near miami, and manatee is near tampa.
i'm more inland. about an hour and a half northwest of miami.
look up Clewiston/Pahokee/Glades Central teams.
beast!
also, Dwyer in palm beach is a beast team as well -

Based on bowl performances on New Years, and performance throughout the first couple weeks, the Big 10 is one of the strongest conferences in the country in football. The Big-10 hating talk was legit a couple years back, but it's old news, and pretty much just a lie at this point. This conference is certainly better than the ACC and PAC 10 and in running with the Big 12 for the best conference other than the SEC (which to be fair, is currently the strongest conference without debate). The addition of Nebraska next year blows the Big 12 out of that race as well.
Penn State isn't going to be as special this year as they have been of late (but they'll still make a bowl), but Ohio State is a monster, and Wisconsin and Iowa are both perennial underachievers who's time is long overdue. Michigan could be back, but as a Wolverine who got slapped with a 5-game loss streak to finish out the season last year, I'm not holding my breath. The rest of the conference is harder to call. Michigan State, Northwestern, Purdue, and Illinois all have potential to jump all over any unsuspecting team. Only Indiana and Minnesota are legitimately weak right now.
The ACC fell all over itself in week 2, with only Miami (of their supposedly stronger teams) making a reasonable showing while Virgina Tech, and Georgia Tech dropped like flies to supposedly weaker opponents. I really haven't kept too close of track outside of that.
Anywho. How about those 502 yard Mr.Robinson picked up against Notre Dame?

i hate ohio state:[
You take that back right now!
And my little Miami University Redhawks are already off to a better start of 1-1 compared to the abysmal 0-8 start to last season -
