God Wolf, you've been through hell and back. I admire someone who can go through such adversity and come out the other side it's astonishing! But dammit. You may be worn and beaten dude. But that's something that can be admired and give others inspiration to keep going. Don't admit defeat. Hang in there. You'll be on top of your game before you know it.

As you may have noticed, I started dabbling in the game recently. Sort of warming up to opening the Montu file and getting a few ideas out of the way. The first area that needed some attention was the Rihno Rally attraction. I used a railroad track before as it offered the 45 deg. to the grid track feature. Unfortunatly, the 45 deg. angle seems to be a specialty track and that the trainer wouldn't go into invisible mode because of it. So I decided to use the original track of the Jurassic Park ATV attraction by Methusalem.

The next big project is merging the track of the river rapids and the Jurassic Park track. I've never done it before, so if someone can post a link to a tutorial on how to merge two different track types so that the ATVs can travel along both tracks, it would be killer.

I'm pretty much hoping that the vehicles will behave like the river rapids rafts when the vehicles transition from the ATV track to the river rapids track.

The Colony House is finally finished. The roof was sitting there unfinished for the longest time. I think I had finished it once before, but the pain meds made me forget to save the work. Doi!



Even though it's ugly as all hell, SOMEBODY wanted texture on what is supposed to be a sleek & smooth steel roof. So I hope their happy. Because I sure as hell ain't. And if they bitch about it. I'll go back and use the original objects and delete these as I can sure use the slots for other stuff that's more important IMO.



A series of small shops and structures are a false facade for the Akbar's Adventure Tours, just as you enter the Egypt area. A few details had to be omitted because someone didn't get around to creating a few things for the park. Which is alright. As I know that this guy is usually very busy with other projects. It's a "fail". But I should of seen it commin'.



Finally, a color change to the ruins just before the huge wall before entering the Montu area. I thought that this shade came closer than the "butterscotch" tan that I has before. If you want to see what it looked like before, I suggest you scan the previous posts. It was one of the first things I created, so it's my guess that it's probably on page one or two.

This area got a whole lot of those invisible booths and stalls. I couldn't build additional structures to hide a food court, so the invisible stalls were simply zero clearanced into the planters. Their out in the open, but out of sight. I thought that was pretty cool. So when the park is released, just watch for the peeps to walk up to a planter and walk away with something in their hand.

It's not. I picked up a Trojan bug and various other viruses. So I had to restore my hard drive to factory settings. I lost a lot of stuff, including this project. Images, videos, hundreds of saved games and dozens of scenarios, hundreds of objects... Even the settings to my modem. I dumped my ISP for a new service altogether, and set up my virus protection correctly. But yes. Montu is gone. Sorry.

I really don't plan on remaking the project as it seems that it got way too opinionated for something that I perceive to be a simple game. It was an experience I don't care to live through again. Besides, all the images are gone. The website I had with my ISP was removed, and thusly, all the images I had here as well. There's nothing to reference for a second go of it. I don't even feel very strong about building anything in RCT anymore. It's like it all dried up and blew away. So if anyone else wants to take on Montu, have at it. You got my blessings.

I guess I have room for something new in my life now.

By "under-informed", are you referring to anyone that hasn't done a background/medical check on you in the last 48 hours? Sorry, "EXTRA" didn't feature the "breaking news about Wolfman's newest life issue" on the west coast. Besides, the "poor me/everybody's against me" act has been playing for years now. So you can't really blame it all on some recent bout of depression.

I treat people as they treat others. Particularly when one of the others is me. I just get tired of Wolfman fucking up, treating everyone like shit, getting banned and then coming back to announce another 'retirement' and handing out invitations to his latest pity party.
