After some of RCTMASTA's recent submissions, I was suggestng a minimum score to receive points, else someone could submit 400 unfinished parks and end up with thousands of points.

I'm still having a very difficult time navigating the forums based purely on the aesthetics. There's no easy way to tell what threads I have and haven't read unless I more or less memorize the ones I have or the time I last visited. The 'New Posts' button keeps being pushed as an alternative, but it resets itself every time that you look at it--it's not as if all new posts are kept on the 'New Posts' feature until you read them.

surely the little envelopes next to each topic help?

It might depend n web browser. I'm on IE8 and the "New Posts" doesn't change much unless I look at the site from different locations (home/iPod/work/etc) or if I don't for several hours. I think there's a way to subscribe to topics you have interest in, but I haven't looked into that.

the service on getting a forum update has great room for improvement, i agree, but it's not too important right now. the way i do it is to use "new posts", then open all interesting topics in new tabs and finally hit "mark all as read". that way you can really make sure stuff you already know won't be shown to you again.

about "comment below"; this is actually only showing because we have a problem to hide the first post of release topics, where we wanted the first reply to show as the first post. it had worked before but somehow had new problems when we launched ne4. as far as i understand, the problem is that if there is no intial post, then there is no topic, and thus no release page.

Great job on the site.
In light of the new submissions manager, do we need to re-submit parks that were submitted before the unveiling of NE4 once it comes back up?

if you're talking of pending submissions then no. other old parks, yes please.

I think the biggest thing it needs is a way to be able to sort parks under what there listed under (gold, silver, bronze, design, and the contests)
For example you could Look at this page and be able to sort the parks by score, creator, date released, etc. in a way simialar to RCDB. Otherwise I think the database is pretty much perfect, and awesome.

Are the ignore and Disable PM features going to be back sometime?

Looks awesome guys, NE2 will always be the NE i always knew, but this does look very sexy

Is there anyway to change the forum layout,I hate having peoples posts and join dates running into their posts. I think i used the classic view on NE3 where all the stats were neatly at the side out of reading view. It would be nice if i could do that again on the new look

I was, sortoff. I was just looking to be able to sort them by things like Silver from highest score to lowest or spotlights by creator or something.

I'm pretty sure you can. Just click the catergory you want to sort by.

turn off map view to sort by columns.

I just turned off the lofi skin for smart-phone/ipod touch users, so if anyone can test the site on a phone that would be helpful, thanks!

Thanks Gee!! It's looking great on my phone, but I haven't looked around to much, no problems yet. Much better than the lofi site.
