Also, to the people looking to recruit, Be carefull, at another internet hobby forum I was on similiar to this died because of people recruiting and advertising outside of the community, and we got 1 or 2 decent people, and most of the rest were the equivilent to GigaG, (just as an example)

There is no way around it. Once a group gets to a cetain amount of members, messaging is no longer allowed (this is due to spamming).

The only way of advertising is to post it on the wall.

just contact the page owner and have a little chit chat about maybe coming down to NE, and if they like it maybe advertise it on their wall.
don't be too forceful, cause afterall, it is just a hobby to most people.

I actually did this a while ago, before I joined. I posted a link and said something like "Its amazing what these guys can do with this game.

I still dont think its a good idea to advertise to much. and plus your probbably going to get a lot of RCT3D'ers aswell, which isnt all that great IMO.

Something you should solve somehow is a problem I've just found out. On every external page, where you have posted a link to a park/design which got an accolade here over at NE, you'll get a 404 when you click them.

Example: http://www.nedesigns...design/firefly/

So all former links on other Forums etc to all Parks are broken now.

That's because the pages arent there anymore.

well maybe there is a way to redirect?
altough that is a pain the a** to make probally.

I'm a little late to the party, but this has renewed my interest in RCT2/RCT3 and this website. Well done.

I'm using IE8 (if you can find me another x64 browser I will consider changing browsers ).

and when I click the link i get "a error occured" both in the x86 and x64 version.

I have a request for submitting already released parks, why cant we just add them on our own, maybe just with admin approval? I submitted SFGNW uncompetitivly just to have it on my page, but it seems silly to make them have to make an overview and things for a park that doesnt even need to be voted on.

OK I am at a hotel in Anaheim and am just checking in, haven't had a chance to check this out properly but WOW!

This is exactly what NE needed and it is frickin' cool. When I get more time I am going to have a proper browse but for now thanks so much to all who worked on this and especially Posix and Gee, seriously, seriously cool stuff.

I must say this site is now one of the nicest looking sites I have been on. So professional and clean!

My favourite little upgrades so far include the more prominent quick reply, the parkmaker rankings and the NE database! I'm still finding my way around so I'm sure I'll find more amazing stuff!

I'm sure this has been a long, sometimes frusturating process but you guys should know that this is amazing. I hope your passion for the RCT community will continue to make the game so much more (now, if only you'd get to work in rct )!

my new favorite feature is quickly becoming the personal messenger. it's basically like creating a private thread that only people who are invited to read can participate.
