Ask the Experts / 8 Cars on Windows Vista

Shit won't work. I open up the edit rides menu and none of my rides appear in the drop town menu. I managed to get the zero clearances to work the other day, only to find that it would not let me restore them. Will one of the older versions of 8 cars work perhaps (and if so does anyone have one)?

rct2 compatability settings:
disable visual themes

8cars compatability settings:
xp sp2 mode

also make sure UAC is disabled.

make sure you use version 1.302 and that the 8carsfunc.dll is in the same folder and there is no other 8cars trainer in that folder.

Also, don't start up iTunes after starting 8cars. I've found these two don't like each other one bit.

I can never get it to work for me either. I basically have to send it to a different computer that is 8-cars compatible.

Thanks. Except when I turn off UAC and try to open RCT2 it wont open, and instead goes into product registration, followed by a white window of nothingness. Anyone know anything about that?
