I agree with Steve. If we're trusting people: trust people. You can either pull the H2h stunt and have codes or just post a decent number of screens from each park/design, whatever these end up being. If they're small enough people can probably judge reasonably well from screens...

There isn't bias to any game. There isn't major seperate categories, there is no reason to do what wanted suggested. LL will go up against 2, just not in the first round as that sort of weeds people out. Also we are sticking to the same sort of format as the original, they had seperate brackets so we do too.

Everything is under control, there is no hassle, we had the 3 options so people could choose, they have done, the organisation is not taking a long time, everything is done and ready, we are just sticking to the original start date.

I have a baaaaaaaad feeling about this as I vividly recall Clockworks/Road Rally benches being without a substantial amount of objects that I, personally, pretty much can't live without because the bench creator found them to be unnecessary. I think it should be like H2H5, where there were basic benches but people were allowed to alter them. I mean, I'm not really up to bust ass building while feeling like I'm handcuffed the entire time. Fuck the "be creative" argument too....I play this game for enjoyment and I don't enjoy having to build shit when I click object tabs and say "oh yeah, I don't have this or this or this....". Since this is Quest For The Best...people should be allowed to BE their best, or change it to Quest For The Best Within Certain Limitations.

Lowenaldo...you might want to be ready to jump in immediately in the first round.

^In some I way I totally agree K0NG and I personally have the same "fear" of having to adjust my style big time cuz of the bench I'm using, I fully understand your point in wanting to use objects your style really needs because I have a few pet peeve objects aswell myself so fingers crossed.

But this also adds a certain showcase of the player being able to get the look he wants without being in his total comfort zone and that adds to the challenge and in fact the best player schould be able to come up with a satisfying result even with objects he/she isn't used to.

This is a good point, sir.

I think you guys just need to trust the organisation. This debate normally doesn't start if it's an "offical" contest. The benches provided will be the best for the overall majority. You can't please everyone. Try building with some different things for once.

Okay...I was gonna edit my last post to say that I was probably just being pissy because one of my buddies and I got extremely hammered last night celebrating the Lakers blowout of the Celtics and I'm nursing a severe hangover...but, reading the first line of this post (before it was edited to include my quote to Giga) made me rethink everything. The thing is....Louis' benches typically lack two things that are essential to my 'style'....water features and rocks, which I use extensively because I love doing landscaping. But it doesn't matter now, seeing "OK, we've established KONG isn't the best, who's next?" has me not giving a fuck what the bench consists of.....it's on. Thanks, bro

What fun is there in a contest if there is no creativity / with what objects you can choose. 

We all have to build a wooden coaster for example, that is already a huge task, if you want to theme it in your style, you need specific objects, with benches it's gonna be even harder to do ... I still can remember Clockworks,the final bench was so hard to built with since it missed some essential objects that most people use ... 

...that's what makes it challenging. Try new things.

Cena, ^this bloke put it perfectly. If you don't want to do it, don't. There are plenty of people to take your place.

Hmm, it would not be such a big deal if they put up the H2H5 benches as well. Then there is no problem with having a bench, almost every new park around here used that bench as a basic and has a few modified objects in it.

1. I'm not building the benches.
2. There will be a SELECTION of benches to choose from with objects being interchangable between them. That's enough flexibility.

Have you read into my mind? Because for some reason you seem to think you know what benches we are going to be provding. How do you know whether we are going to be putting up the H2H5 benches or not?
