how soon is soon? cause last time you said soon it was 4 days till you had them up. not trying to be mean, just need to know where to put my expectations....

basically louis is really busy. sometimes real life is more important than a website so don't get impatient, guys.

Did I miss the release?

I don't think so but we'll get it eventually, I'm just a waiting for the awesome entries though.

Louis didn't have time to post, Pretty much everyone lost interest, and the parks were never released. Turtle i believe is working his for a design, and mine might get used at some point. Unofficially, as the whole thing would seem, finals were cancelled, though Turtle would have beaten me smartly had the parks been posted. A sour end to a sour tournament really...i had fun though...

Yeah. Pretty much. It's a real pity that we didn't get a quality five way final, that would have been amazing. Just reflects the current climate though, I guess, only about a quarter of people currently playing the game have the motivation to finish a project through to the end. Thanks to FK for actually submitting something, hopefully we'll get to see both entries and compare them.

For the record, I submitted mine for design straight away, probably the least time i've ever spent building a design. You'll see it soon in one guise or another i'm sure.

^ I've heard it's amazing. I don't think it's the current climate yet you guys were building on an unofficial competition for no points. Thats the main reason. I know some of you built for fun but I know I'd like a more precise release of my work.

I had the same thing going on in my head when I was making saloon swing... WHY not submit this for design?
but then I really wanted to win that duel with sulakke

^^that's pretty much the reason this went so poorly. as soon as NE updated no one wanted anything to do with a zero points contest, except afew loyal souls. I can assure you Turtle would have won, i'll probably submit mine for a design at some point, though it's not as sure fire as Turtle's coasters....
