When will voting start?

Just sent it in. Hope you're pulling and Iris and five minutes late isn't late at all.

Seems a shame to disqualify an entry with something like 20 hours in it because it's a few minutesover, but if you do please have the courtesy to NOT release it then.

I feel stupid for not finding this in any posts but when is the first round coming out? I'm excited to see everyone's work.

I guess I got in.. was already late and had some trouble sending files to the gmail account for some reason ^^

Well, I've just now found my LL CDs to reinstall after a corrupt data error. I'll submit what I've got before 12, but it'll be nowhere near done.

Yeah. I misread the deadline and thought I had until midnight tonight, EST... The four hour difference was rather sweeping.

But it's in and vaguely "complete" none the less.

Yeah, that was bad on my part. Regardless entries are still streaming in so I'm letting this deadline be a bit loose compared to the upcoming rounds'.

I have a theory....if people that are IN GMT have until midnight, it only stands to reason that people (like me) that are PST should have until midnight as well. Not that I'm gonna finish anyway but, those precious few hours will certainly make a difference. I've been too busy all day to even look at my entry...let alone try to tidy up all the unfinishedness. I'll send what I have in before midnight, my time, and hope for the best.

sent...so fucking far from being finished...but, I wasn't about to just toss all that I'd done away.
Two weeks just isn't enough time. Not for something like this anyway...but, it is what it is.

Well done everyone who got entries in, I think it's just courtesy in a contest like this when you're up against one other player. It's nice to have something to go up against.

Well so much for me thinking I also had tomorrow to work on my entry... Cant do everything sometimes.

Whilst I kind of dont understand why something is so hard to finish in 2 weeks, thankyou to everyone who managed to get an entry in finished or not.

We have had 24 entries sent in and recieved. 8 people have not sent in an entry and have forfeited resulting in 8 people automatically going through.

It's not a fantastic result as many of the people automatically going through hardly completed an entry themselves for whatever reason.

Hopefully this has gotten rid of those that didnt want to take part in the contest in the first place and those that didnt want to continue past the first round so that Round 2 has a full load of entries.

Voting will start tonight and last until friday. Good luck to all those that have entered and well done to those that have found an automatic place in the next round.

awwwwh jdp you could have flattened me regardless of your entry. i just sent something in so you had somethign to go up against. i promise that my next round entry will be awesomer.

What's annoying about the amount of forfeits is that some people who have worked damn hard on their entries are going to be knocked out and some that have only built a layout are going to go through.

But that's life.
