well, you could of course make the matchup anonymous. like "hey guys, we have a match for you to vote on, but we won't tell you, which one it is!"

theres required elements for each match up.

that won't happen since we have set challenges every 4 players, so we'll all know who it is that has these challenges

Which is why people just need to chillax and realise that we know what we are doing with the voting and nothing will change how the voting is going to happen

The voting will be public. If people want to vote for the person they like the best instead of the entry then thats what they want to do.

But im pretty sure the community isnt like that.

The community says it isn't... not that Blaze Battles meant anything, that voting was usually biased. TN had some very bad biased voting with their contests. CS was a little better... no one is completely objective because opinion counts as a way to score. Something could be technically near perfect, but if no one likes it then it won't win.

So...what you do is make your entry so fucking good that it's impossible not to vote for it. If I felt that I had to win a popularity contest every time, I'd never enter anything.

More like Griffion, Sheikra and Oblivion. 

However, technically, as long as the coaster has a vertical drop and features the Vertical Drop cars, it can be anything.

So you can do a Maverick style coaster, just it would have to be with the dive machine style cars.

MF72 has withdrawn from the contest. As there is no NCSO player to replace him we go to the first LL player on the list which is Loopy. If Loopy is unavailable, Airtime will be called up instead.

alright so i just found out that with my schedule i'm not even going to have time to start building until the 28th, so i'm not going to be able to enter this contest.

i'm not very good at flyers to begin with, i build really slowly, and i don't even have that much motivation to begin with. no way in hell i'll finish in 6 days.

sorry jusmith, i know you were probably looking for a good match, but i'm going to have to have someone replace me.

on the bright side if i do get started building again i'll have that time to hopefully finish my design thats been going for years now

well see, i've got 195 pages of Crime and Punishment to read and annotate, as well 2 journals and 2 online postings to do by 5 days from now that i haven't been able to start because i've been out of town.

then after all that i've got a day-long reunion thing, then i'm going to Iowa to see my sister's play. so i will be gone all day then. that leaves me six days to finish. not happening

EDIT: oh and the day after the entries are due i leave for Florida for a week, so i won't be able to work on the second round if i make it and i will have to pack on the 2nd/3rd, also decreasing the time i have to finish.
